Customer Product Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1reviewer.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Its a good gun. This is my first gun but I've done my homework, so I hope I can provide an accurate review. The associate at the gun counter suggested the 20 GA because I had informed him it was my first gun. He said the kick is less than a 12 GA but is not much different in terms of power. With proper use I can down anything up to and including deer. Cool, works for me.I've only fired about 25 shells through it so far, out of the 25 I've had two jams where the magazine feeds in to the elevator. I'm not sure if its user error, the ammo (I used Federal multi-purpose) or the gun. It wasnt hard to fix it, it was however a jam none the less. The shell was jammed above the elevator, not fully ejected from the magazine. The second jam the shell got wedged underneath the elevator and the magazine. Again, not hard to fix - once I dislodged the shell, the magazine proceeded to empty itself fully on to the ground. That was a bit irritating and why I rated this 4/5. The video I posted with this is me clearing the jam.Once I was done shooting, I dismantled and cleaned the gun. It looks a bit scarey to be taking all of it out and putting it back again but its actually really easy. I used Hoppes 9 solvent and gun oil to clean and lubricate it and the winchester universal kit for the mops and such. The gun worked properly after I put it back together, so I guess the guide I found online was accurate. 06/07/2012
