The mat will have a slight odor when new, but should dissipate over time. The mat is designed for outdoor use, but can be used indoors.

I bought mine for my camper as well, but its an outdoor mat and it does have a little bit of a rubber mat smell. Its a really nice mat though, heavy and durable!

This one doesn&#39;t have a rubber odor to it. We have it at the door of the garage leading into the house and there isn&#39;t any smell.  We have a different one at our backdoor that has a very strong odor, so I know that &quot;smell&quot; you are talking about. This is fine and it looks great- the pictures on it are perfect.

I did not notice an odor.  We have it inside our camper.

Im wanting to use this as a scrapper rug inside my RV - does it have a rubber odor to it?

I was so impressed when this mat arrived. It's colors are vivid and the mat is heavy which tends for me to think it will wear well. Very pleased it is from recycled tires making it eco-friendly as well! Easy cleaning instructions, too!

This is very heavy and stiff so does not move around.  Looks great inside the door in our camper.  I have seen this for more than twice the price elsewhere.
