Rated 4 out of 5★by Packaging process need corrected The pie was good as usual but had a few issues in packaging. The was a lot of ice on top of the lattice crust which I picked off before baking. Next the sugar glaze package was not sealed and therefore the sugar was wet and very hard to sprinkle. Just thought I would let you know so the final process is corrected. I purchased the pie about 2 weeks ago so I know it was not in the freezer to long. 02/02/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★by Sorry Mom, but Marie Callendar's Lattice Apple Rivals Yours! This Pie, called The Lattice Apple Pie is upon first steaming spoonful; your ticket to paradise lost. Where memories began. Your first smells. My Mom makes a mean Apple Pie! But when Marie Callendar's came around. Even she knew that there was a New Chef in Town! Back to the Pie. The apples used are sweet Fuji apples, with mind you, imported cinnamon and Sugar! My kind of Pie!, But the Pies de Resistance, is: The Crust. They could have just covered it, but they really went all out and LATTICED It! And it takes extra time and effort to do that. Just like Mom and Grandma and Great Grandma all did it! Which to me, hearkens back to an simpler time, listening to the radio tell stories. And the smell wafting up from the freshly baked pie is pure heaven like waking up to Christmas and your first snow and everything cozy and good and wholesome, all wrapped up in Marie Callendar's Wonderful, Lattice Apple Pie. And To Everyone whom is recommended this Pie, Friendship ensues! Love this Pie! 01/14/2014

Rated 5 out of 5★by Best Apple Pie available! I used to get this pie all the time. However, I have moved and the local stores only carry Dutch Apple. Though good it doesn't compare to the Apple Lattice. In fact I feel this is your best apple pie period. 09/17/2012

All of the stores have decided to carry the Dutch apple which is okay, but not as good as the Lattice Apple Pie. Now I'm sad because I want to eat one and don't know where to go to get it.I digress...skip the others and grab this one the next time you're in the aisle. Best frozen apple pie! 08/08/2013

  • Conventional oven/preheat oven to 425 f, remove plastic wrapper from pie, cover cookie sheet with aluminum foil & place frozen pie on cookie sheet on center oven rack, bake pie for 55-65 minutes or until lattice top begins to turn golden brown, remove pie from oven on cookie sheet, open sugar pouch with scissors And sprinkle sugar as desired on pie And return to oven, never lift pie pan by the edges, let pie bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, pie will slice And serve most easily when cooled at least 2 hours. This product is manufactured on shared equipment with other peanut, tree nut, milk or egg containing products marie's baking tips: if edges of pie begin to brown excessively cover edges with a strip of aluminum foil & continue baking/ our pies are filled with luscious, ripe fruit, some juices may bubble over while baking so be sure to cover your cookie sheet with aluminum foil/ to give your lattice crust an even more beautiful, flaky appearance, brush on a beaten egg before baking (avoid brushing the egg on the pattern around the pies edge) keep frozen until ready to bake
