Rated 5 out of 5 by walmartshopperabc great futon more comfortable than I imagined; the fold up sides make it very comfortable to lay your head down on a pillow vs. many futons that are a flat surface or have metal frame side arms; durable; so easy to put together that my kids did it in a few minutes; $30 cheaper than Kmart for same product; i'm thinking about buying another one! 06/04/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by reviewer86xx very cute but deceiving description I am giving this only 3 stars because the description and photo are inaccurate.The product said that it would have wood slats, but it clearly has thin metal bars under the seat area. I have only owned this for one day and so far, the futon has withstood me sleeping on it for one night (I am a 5'4, 120 lbs woman). Because it doesn't look very strong with the light-weight metal, I think it is safe enough to hold only one regular sized adult OR two small people. If this is all you need to fit your needs, then I recommend this product because it is very cute and so far, it is comfortable - although the cushion looks like it might flatten over time. The cover has zipper access to the inside of the mattress, so I am thinking if it flattens over time, I can put more stuffing or slip a twin-sized mattress pad inside.Based on the accuracy/inaccuracy of the photo, the futon does not look exactly the same. The metal frame in the picture shows it as shiny silver when it is actually a darker smokey gray color. The back pillow AND the orange side pillows are fairly accurate in color, but both do not have all the tufts sewn into them like the picture shows. The bottom mattress cushion is actually a darker olive green. These color combinations that you actually get are still cute however.Basically it seems that they advertise something of better quality than what you actually receive. The product is still cute and functional, but they should put an accurate description and picture of what you will REALLY receive if you buy this. 02/08/2012
