This is the best. Had previously purchased the full plastic cover and it was too hot. The waterproof cover with the quilted top didn't hold up. The quilted top stretched and made the sheets wrinkle. This was very uncomfortable. The pad I got this time is just fine. Thanks.

Much easier to use than a fitted mattress pad. My toddler son may wet the bed at 2AM, so dealing with a fitted pad at that time of night is a hassle. This is simple- place it where you need it. Also, easier to store than a fitted pad, since it's a bit smaller. Folds up nicely.

It is larger than I thought so covers a greater area. This help to keep other bedding clean longer.

My Queen bed is bending in the middle that hurts bot my wifes back and mine. I have back issues and am getting injections in my spine right now that my first one has caused more pain and I keep tossing and turning when each side hurts. I was told to either replace the bedspring or get a board between the 2. I was wondering if this would help instead.

    • I doubt it. This is to keep moisture from leaking through on the mattress. Get a memory foam type topper. Don't get the egg crate kind; the "good" kind. I did and it's wonderful.

    • No it is like a water proof cloth has no support value.

    • No I do not believe this would help. This is mainly to keep other bedding clean. You need something like a memory foam pad.

    • This is for waterproofing and won't help your bed. If you can't afford a new bed right now, get a large piece of plywood cut down to a few inches smaller than the mattress and put between them. It helps a lot.

    • It's only a thin pad used for urinary/bedwetting problems. I use it to cover the carpet for my dog instead of a training pad! Thick memory foam (2-4 inches thick) is pricey, would solve a mattress problem but in your case, time to invest in new box springs. I don't have a queen bed - I have a full size - but in your case, a queen bed mattress is one piece, the box springs are two. Depending on how long this has been going on, you may need a new mattress, too, because you're breaking down the middle of the mattress with those 2 box springs - the mattress is adjusting to fit the broken springs. I know - it's a big $$$ investment but I have back problems, too. I'd be buying a whole new set. I really would bet your mattress is breaking down, too. Good luck!!

    • If you are able to afford it, buy a new bed! When your mattress "bends" in the middle,& effects both sleepers backs, it has seen "better" days, & over it's warranty time. If you are unable @this time to get a new mattress set, buy a piece of ply wood, cut to fit your ENTIRE bed. Ask your M.D. What "width" would be good for you. Then, get 2 "quality" mattress toppers, that go on like sheets & put both on your mattress. You should notice a MARKED feeling of comfort. If you do get a new bed, or do the suggestion I made, remember to always turn your mattress over every month. I too have major back problems, so I empathise. But, which ever you do, for the bed, do soon. Otherwise, your "injections", will be a lost cause. Good Luck!!

    • Not for back problems. It is for incontinence. You probably be looking for a thick foam topper.

    • I don't think it would help with your issue. It is very thin and would not add any cushion or structure.
