This blanket is made of 100-percent polyester and is not microfiber.

Hi AnneV. No, this is not anywhere close to that weird-feeling microfiber, it is 100% polyester. It is not quite like the blanket that used to have the satin trim/border around it that used to be commonly sold several years back, but rather a very lightweight blanket that is fairly soft and on the much thinner side. I like it for what it is, an additional layer of warmth for the cooler months. It washes and dries very quickly and is not bulky.

This blanket is 100% polyester. It is stretchy in one direction and is very soft. It is a thin type summer blanket, but I have been sleeping with it as fall is almost here and it is keeping me warm. Very soft. Also washes well. Hope this helps to answer your question.

Mine are not. They are a basic cover blanket, not fluffy. But would be great for camping and I have also used them for moving.

This is not a micro-fleece blanket, which is typically somewhat softer and has a fuller feel. This is a very lightweight, 100% polyester blanket that is thinner and multipurpose-full in layering for additional warmth that is not quite as soft as micro fleece, but soft enough to enjoy. It is not scratchy, and mine hasn&#39;t as of yet, pilled up or gotten fuzzballs.

The blanket will burn like any other, but seems to be more fire resistant than most based on my experience. We had the blanket too close to a campfire; it did burn slightly, but it is certainly not extremely flammable. I wish that I could say the same about a jacket that got too close to the fire!

I purchased 60 blankets for a project that I am sponsoring, Ms Sandra's Blanket Project. I will be distributing these blankets on Oct 25th to the Homeless in Michigan City Indiana. In 2015 my goal is 150 blankets so that I can hopefully include more blankets for the homeless in La Porte & Michigan City.

It was $5.00,you can't beat it with a stick.Plenty warm and breathable. Not the old plasticky baggy feeling.It made it through a cold wash ,hot dryer looking like new. Again it was $5.00 for a warm blanket.Get 1 get 2 they're cheap.

We needed large throw cover and this fit the bill. Not only is it a great value but it's very soft and keeps me snugged and warm on the couch. I do wish it came in more colors. It's a nice find.

So SOFT!

First of all, I don't have a lot of money so I have to be careful what I buy. I try to get the best deal for my money. This blanket fits in that category. I bought the Twin Size (60 x 90) in this blanket. My main reason for buying it was to use it as a blanket to cover my sofas since we have four cats. It helps keep the cat hair off the furniture. I also like this for my lift and recline chair. I sleep in the chair and I want to keep it clean. It covers the chair well. I also have used it as a blanket. It is thin like a summer blanket, but it is keeping me very warm at night. I plan on buying more to use as furniture covers and also for guest blankets. Plus I will buy another one to sleep with so I will have two for the really cold nights. Made of 100% polyester and washes well. I bought the gold color which is more of a very light brownish tan color. It is pretty to me. Launder in cold water, washing it separately, on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat. It is soft and stretchy and I am happy with my blanket. Could also be used as a pet bed instead of buying those expensive pet beds. Can't go wrong with this blanket.

I Love My New Blanket

The large size is more than enough to cover both of us in the queen size bed with extra coverage. It is very soft, the inside is even more soft than the outside. It is very light weight and yet warm, but not too warm. In really cold weather I would suggest a sheet along with it. Wash, dry and throw it on the bed, it is ready to go. Great buy, and perfect for gifts. I bought One for everyone for Christmas, great blanket. p.s. don't tell them it is a surprise!

Large, soft and warm, but not too warm

This is great blanket for the purpose I purchased it. I wanted something that was lightweight yet warm and this product met those requirements. These blankets are great to have around for unexpected guests and for the price you can stock your closet!

Great product for the purpose purchased

I bought this blanket to use on my son's bed. His bed is in the corner and hard to change the sheets because you have to lean over the bed to change the linens and it is a full size bed. So I put the sheets on the bed and put a blanket on top for him to sleep on, so that I can wash the blanket each week and not have to struggle with a fitted sheet every week. I wasn't expecting a lot out of a $5 blanket, but I love this blanket. It is so soft. It is a thinner blanket, which is exactly what I wanted. I plan on buying more of these blankets to use in the living room to cover up with while watching TV and to use when my grandchildren come down here. Plus another one for my son to use to cover up with while sleeping. I bought the gray blanket and it looks as shown in the photo. Buy this blanket, you won't be disappointed. It is so soft and snuggly.

I Love The Mainstays Value Blanket.

This is a thinner utility-type blanket. Its thin, but I find it to be warm enough. I could see these being layered either with each other or with other blankets for more warmth. It has selvage edges that are simply stitched over, so if you are looking for something fancy this may not fit the bill for you. Perfect for stadium use or as an extra blanket in the car. I'm happy with my purchase!

Blanket is mid weight. Great for cool times . Mine is dark grey and I bought it to keep in the car for picnics or in case of car trouble, Washable and well worth the money.
