I bought this for my daughter to transition her from her toddler bed to a "big girl" bed....i ordered it like a week before christmas, and got it before christmas, even though they estimated it would take longer! I expected it to be kind of a cheap type of wood or fiber board, but it is actually really heavy and sturdy! My husband put it together with some help from myself and it took probably about 3/4 hours (pausing to eat and take care of kids) but the end result was worth it! I love that I dont need a box spring under the mattress and i love that I can store some of my daughters books and nic nacks in the headboard and put some clothes in the drawers underneath! The only thing im worried about is if we ever move, it probably wont fit through her doorway and we'll have to take it apart :/ However, I plan on giving this bed to my daughter to take with her when she moves out....that's how long I expect it to last! Rated 5 out of 5 by xiusha very nice bed I bought this bed mainly based on reviews, and I would like to thank all for providing their inputs about it. I really like the bed and it is what I needed. The color of the bed is indeed dark, close to black, which is not a problem for me. It's more a feature of it, since it's easier to match other furniture that I have in the house with the new bed. This was my first online purchase from walmart and I didn't have any issues (I am about scratches of the bed, or the delivery delays) :) that's awesome! 01/02/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lilachka Awesome look and what a price! Just bought this for my 2 year old boy! Its fantastic, it really is. Hubby put it together, took a while. The quality obviously isn't amazing. But no matter how much we spent on a bed, kids wear and tear on it. So this was perfect for us. I do recommend! 12/27/2011

Take it slow and read is the key. We too had a "drawer" issue till I pointed out that the face boards were probably on upside down, and voila' they fit great. We bought 2 of these so the second one we were wiser and it was a piece of cake! They looks great, the boys love them and the storage is good enough we were able to remove their dresser so the room looks great too. If you only have $160 to spend on a bed and want your moneys worth, this is the bed for you. 12/27/2011
