I gave this lamp to my mother, but I am guessing (from memory of yesterday) the shade is about 8" wide x 8" high.

The shade is about 8" tall, 6" wide and perfectly round. Good quality.

It says 60 watt but I will likely use a 100 watt since I only use it for reading before bedtime (2 hours maximum).

The shade is about 8 inches high and about 5 inches in diameter.

The size of the shade is perfect for the lamp.

After reading reviews of these lamps, I chose to get them for my family room.
They are awesome! Don't let the small size of the box fool you. Once you put them together, they are a substantial size. I bought two lamps, and they sit on end tables on either end of my couch.

Love these lamps!

I love the look of this lamp. Its simple and clean. Its a little small but its quite a beauty for me. I bought 4 of these, two in my kid's room and two in mine. With the price I would definitely recommend this if you are up for simple and nice to the eyes lamps.

These lamps can shine the light on anyones' decorating personality/style!. They serve a multi-purpose for me, as through my work hours, these lamps have a simplistic elegance as relaxed lighting in my 'Counseling & Therapy Room'. They are conducive to that professional look and appeal that is a must, and for my clients' all around feeling to be comfortable and at ease. The slender silver stem & base give that look of class, and the pure black lamp shade is a perfect blend with 'everything' else in the room! Then after my work hours, these multi-purpose lamps, are simply beautiful in my now 'Media Room'. The lighting & look from/of these lamps, have just like myself, stopped their style & functioning as professional, and are now setting the mood for fun & cuddling, and perfect amount of light from these very 'Decor Versital' lamps gives that soft, beautiful ambiance that looks like they were very expensive, but in all reality, these lamps were very, very affordable. The optimal in funtional in decorating personality

This was perfect!! I was planning on making a gummy bear lamp like the one on iCarly, and this one looks exactly like the one on the show! It's sturdy and looks very modern :P I did the pick up from store thing and it was literally ready in an hour. The box is really small, but when you open it up and assemble it it is actually pretty big! It is extremely easy to set up and you can have it set up in your room in about 6 minutes! Great product over all. Would defiantly buy this again or would recommend this to a friend.

Got these because my previous lamps were too big for my bedside tables and totally overpowered my bedroom. These were inexpensive and look great. Easy to assemble (no tools needed). Very pleased with these.

perfect for a small bedroom

Very happy with my lamp especially for the price.  Does just what I need it to do and came with bulb and that made my day.

Great Table Lamp for the money

Clean, sleek look! I love these lamps. Look way more expensive than the price which is outrageously low. Attaching a photo so you can see how they look.

Posh and Modern

Bought two of these for my bedroom. They are kind of wobbly if you don't tighten them properly but other than that they are great an give great light even with the black shade.

The lamp shade is a tad cheep looking but that can easily be replaced by different shade. Tha base what I expectected. I like the on/off pull chain. Assembly was a little difficult. It required pulling firmly on the cord throught the base to bring the three pieces together which meant I also had to pull the felt halfway off the underside of the base. But when I was done with assembly I was able to press the felt back in place and it stayed. I would recommend this lamp to a friend. You get a decent lamp for a cheap price.

The base is great and well manufactured. I ordered 10 lamps for a project and all of the shades arrived dented which was not repairable.
