Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsKnockOut DO NOT BUY THIS DESK! I wish I had taken a picture of what the desk looked like merely 5 minutes after my husband and I assembled it. In having it completely assembled in a fairly decent amount of time, making sure each detail was correct the minute my husband and I decided to move it (less than five inches) the entire desk fell apart. The nails they provided broke right through the wood, the wood cracked down the middle. I had never seen such less sturdy wood in my life, and I have quite a bit of experience with carpentry and putting almost anything together!I bought this desk thinking it was the exact version of the Mainstays Student Desk (in black) only I had needed a different color to complement the decor of my home office. I had experience seeing and feeling the sturdiness of this desk (in black) and figured I would be getting the same thing. It was so far from being the same. I have since had to return this product and I would not recommend this to anyone.I repeat: don't waste your time or money! 11/19/2012
