Rated 5 out of 5 by Brix86 Better then a bed, it's a full size futon 2 people can sleep on it very comfortable thick & soft I also bought a waterproof down mattress protector for it that add's about another inch of softness. At first I was worried about the arm rest I dident want it too high or to lay on it, but it's pretty low it comes up just about the futon mattress so my pillow is not up in the air or anything its pretty low and flat. It took about an hour to put it together not 2 hard either. It's great to go to bed & get up to make it up right and do some work on my computer or for guest It,s also hard to find a nice futon full size and 6 inch mattress thickness so I give the 5 stars!!! 11/12/2012

The wood was beautiful!! And the mattress with the lovely cover looked like it was part of our more expensive living room furniture!!! Just an exceptional buy! 10/26/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by fratman The frame is good, mattress - terrible The mattress is basically the cover with some recycled materials inside. There is NO cushioning to it. I will have to purchase another mattress in order to sit on the futon. You can feel the futon coils when you sit. 6in. of what should be asked, there is no foam. 05/01/2012

My husband and I just bought it on a whim while we were out shopping and didn't read the reviews til we got home. I was really worried after reading reviews and we almost didn't take it out of the box, but after a whole night of debating what to do we decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad we did because it's been perfect for our needs.We use ours in a playroom. It does get used everyday but it isn't our main couch. We don't intend on using it as a bed in the near future and haven't tried it that way. However, my husband does think it's very comfortable to lay on and he loves that it's long enough for him to completely stretch out -he's about 5'8". We also love having arms and a high back since we'd looked at quite a few that were more compact with no arms and low backs. The mattress is not as comfy as a regular mattress or a regular couch for that matter, but as a spare couch for us to sit on while we play with the kids it's fabulous and comfortable enough. We haven't had any problems with durability. Our kids are jumping on this thing all day long and I'm currently pregnant. We can all sit on it (3 kids, mom and dad) with no problems. My husband put it together in about an hour and we both felt like it seemed really sturdy when he was finished.For the money we spent I feel like we got a great futon. There were cheaper ones out there that even had better reviews but they were all more modern looking and didn't have the features we wanted like a tall back and arms. I would definitely recommend this couch! 03/20/2012
