Mainstays Mission Wood Arm Futon, Walnut 3 5 115 116
nice product Ive bought 2 of these futons i had 1st one for 2 yrs and had no problems with it before i gave it away when i moved. Now ive bought a 2nd one that ive had for 2 yrs and still is like new i sleep on it and sit on it.As far as other reviewers saying the bars pop loose,i dunno what they are doing on it to break them. I weigh 215 and my girlfriend weighs 110 we sleep on it all the time and she has walked on it before.None of bars have broke.Id reccomend this futon because it looks nice and is bigger than you think. Also the price is cheap compared to another wooden futon 02/27/2009
Great Value I bought this so there would be extra space for family and friends to sleep for an upcoming event. It took my fiance and I about 1 hr to put together... It looks great in our "man cave". The mattress is smaller than I thought, but you can purchase a bigger mattress if you want. It is a great buy for the price and it looks great in our home!!! I would recommend to anyone to buy. 03/06/2010
better then i thought I bought this futon to replace a convertible couch that was old and starting to brake down. I read the reviews and saw that a lot of people loved this futon and gave good reviews. My only concern was that there were a few people who said that it fell apart soon after they got this. This was not that hard to put together although I did accidently put a few scews in the wrong spot and had to change them. This futon holds me very well as i am over 300 pounds and it also hold 3 other as well. when folded down the futon is very sturdy and comfy to sleep on. 03/11/2009
this one is chancy less than a month into use, the wire grid under the seating part came loose, due to inferior welding. I contacted the store's company, and they offered to replace the defective part, once I told them what model it was, at no cost, I just had to go to my nearest location. Since I own no car, this took some time to arrange, but I finally have the replacement frame for the bottom, and am hopeful that this will work.Sufficed to say, although Walmart's willingness to see to it that I as a customer am satisfied, is par 4, the hit or miss quality of this item makes me suggest just buying a regular sofa, or buying a twin bed, and some cushions, if you really need a good bed.It goes together easily enough, even when assembling solo. But you will want to have a powered screwdriver handy for tightening some parts. The mechanicals work great, and as a bed, it is comfortable enough to sleep on almost every night. Just don't flop on the thing as a sofa or a bed, or it will break. I didn't even do that, but as a fat guy, I don't go flopping on things, as a rule, from experience. The best advice I can give you if you buy this is use it a lot in the first month, so that if anything on it is defective, you can catch it, and get a part replaced, or get your money back, if possible. Like a science fiction story, when it's good, it's good, when it's bad, it's bad. 05/01/2010
