    Rated 2.8 out of 5★ by 209reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5★ by Great for budgeting for an apartment First off, Assembling it all together was more difficult than my roommate and I thought(both females), but still manageable. It was more so tedious and time consuming for the most part. Although we took breaks in between it still took almost 4 hours. Definitely takes two sets of hands or else it will probably take all night to do. Hands will hurt from Alan wrench which was 80 percent of the parts required. Holes to screw things in was hard to space out because walmart brands never fails to get the lining correct so pay close attention to every hole making sure not to use up the space for one screw ( you'll know what I mean) Just make sure to read step by step CLOSELY. Make sure you have an electric power screw! not just a regular screw driver.Sencond, Comfort level is decent. There were many mix reviews but still I went ahead and bought it because of my budget and size of my apartment. Its not the softest nor is it the hardest. This is coming from a person that once had a mattress topper for her bed, so for me to be pleased with the comfort level is a good sign. Pulled out as a bed, Yes you can feel the different levels of the futon with the back piece bar, but again, it isn't a problem to me. you'll just have to stick with one side to sleep on because the middle will be uncomfortable being that it isn't leveled.Lastly, It looks good. something plain and simple. Can't go wrong. We use it for everyday sitting occasionally sleeping. I would recommend for sitting usage, however for those seeking this for an everyday bed use, I wouldn't. Eventually the middle uneven level bar that makes one side higher when it is pulled out will be annoying other than that, great for small apartment, young or old. Hope this helps! 05/22/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Great..... For a little while. I was looking for a good option for my son's small room. He is an average (to slightly smaller than average) 12 year old. I only have him every other weekend and wanted something that could be used as a couch in between stays. Hide-a-beds are spendy so I thought a futon would be the perfect answer. I read all the reviews and figured I was making a good decision. Everything started off well. The product looks sharp and functions well. However, after less than 6 months of every other weekend use, the mattress has broken down and is SUPER uncomfortable. Because it sits a mere 10 inches off the ground, I do not use it as a couch in between stays except to hold laundry while folding (it's really good at that).Bottom line: Unless you plan on letting this sit there assisting you with laundry and using on occation for company, or you are going to buy a MUCH better mattress with it, I would steer clear. Save a few more bucks and get yourself a better product. 05/18/2013
Rated 2 out of 5★ by This seat/mattress is not very comfortableit requires more fill or better filling material...I'm guessing the manufacturer didn't think a heftyperson might be utilizing it and also that you are laying on a structure that is not forgivingAdditional padding must be added 01/02/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Excellent Futon for short term use! I found myself staying at a room with just a sofa to sleep on for a short term 3 month work assignment. The sofa was older and somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on so I bought this very inexpensive futon as a short term solution. It was somewhat involved to assemble - took me approximately 3 hours but it was well worth the effort.I weigh 280 and find it very comfortable to sleep on. Of course the mattress isn't plush but it is sufficient for what I intend it to be used for. The frame is very sturdy and it isn't bad looking. After my work assignment is over if the owner of the room I'm staying at doesn't want the futon I can simply dispose of it at the local dump or donate it to someone that might want it.For such a cheap price it's virtually a "disposable" Futon. Now if you're looking for more of a long term solution for your home or something along those line you'd probably want to invest in something of a higher grade. But for the price and use I intend it for it's an excellent futon. 02/20/2014
Rated 1 out of 5★ by does not last I bought this bed about 6 months ago for my 14 year old. She is 5'5" and about 150 lbs. The bolts fell out by themselves and the bed fell apart. I sat on it and it was very uncomfortable. I ended up scraping the metal. It is not worth the time or money. 02/07/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by It Sinks In The Middle This futon sinks in the middle. I had to place two stacks of books underneath it in order to keep it from sinking when I sleep at night, but this does not even correct the problem completely. It is not a good bed to sleep on because of the sinking problem. I cannot recommend this product to be used as a mattress for sleeping. It strikes me as a cheaply made product.I'm assuming I have the right item. I am referring to the black futon sold at Wallmart. 01/09/2013
Rated 1 out of 5★ by Don't buy this under any circumstances We bought this futon in January and it has been nothing but a hassle. About 4 months in, the bottom rungs snapped (by the way, my boyfriend and I total about 300 pounds). So we ordered replacement parts from the manufacturer (they are really good about replacing parts, maybe because their product is of such poor quality). Anyway, we were sent defective parts and had to order them again. The screw holes were off in a couple places by just a mm or two and we couldn't use them. We got new parts but, again, there were problems. We managed to buy some screws to fit into the holes, but were unable to put screws in to connect the two bottom panels because their screw holes were crooked (the screws were, literally, at a diagonal). Also, there was a problem getting the second shipment of parts because, apparently, they hadn't gotten a shipment of them from overseas yet when we called. Months later we finally got them. Anyway, it's not worth the hassle. This product is obviously not built to last very long. But maybe you get what you pay for. 12/03/2013
