I really like the Mainstays 11” X 14” Black Format Picture Frame. The picture frame is made from plastic. It has a thin outer frame so it really exposes your picture fully. The frame is plastic and looks full supported in the back.. The front of the picture is made of clear glass The picture frame is light and only needs one screw to hold it up

Great Picture Frame

This Maintays 11 x 14 frame is very large, light and easy to assemble. The glass folds open to allow positioning of a photo(s) and then fits back into the frame securely, thus fixing the photo in place. It is a quality frame and with the black finish will easily be incorporated into any decor.

Large, light and easy to assemble

This is a good picture frame that is lightweight and easy to place a picture inside. It is thin but sturdy. I have not had a chance to have a picture printed to fit in the frame, but I know it will look great when I have a chance to do that. This will look great either hanging on the wall or placed on a mantle or book case. Can't wait to get a picture of my granddog to put in here to show off!

thin but sturdy picture frame

These frames are perfect for a print on photo paper or anything thin like that. I made the mistake of ordering these to be used with sketch's on a canvas panel that is about 1/8 inch thick. The panels are very difficult to get in the frame and I had to eliminate the glass. With the extra bulk from the canvas, I had to really gently force the print into the frame and with it being plastic it did give, but created the slightest bow. If you didn't know, you probably wouldn't notice. Not a good choice for my purposes, but otherwise a good purchase.

NICE FRAME BUT READ ON

This size of frame is great for family photos, or special pieces of artwork to be displayed on the walls. It doesn't have a stand, so it does need to be hung up. The great thing is that it has the option to hang landscape or portrait. The only issue with the frame is that it's plastic and therefore if it isn't hung correctly and falls, the plastic will crack unlike a good quality wooden frame.

Lovely size frame and good concept

Its a frame, not very special.  Plastic frame with thin plastic not glass.  I thiught it would be good to keep all kids artwork and its large enough in size but not that cabinet style to keep putting new ines in i thought it was. Its a basic plastic frame.

I am an artist, and needed some thing to look professional for an art show. These made my artwork looks nice. However, the glass popped out, and I broke one or two glass. I would recommend using small piece tape on each corner to make sure the glass doesn't pop out. I would not sell these as a product, I only used in a pinch to showcase my work.

You get what you Pay for

I truly wanted to like this product but found it lacking in several ways. The frame itself is plastic and felt very flimsy. Although it says 11x14 it was made a fraction smaller and would not fit a standard mat or photo. Because of size I wanted to put a mat and found that depth was too shallow. My biggest dislike was reinstalling the glass, it felt unsafe pushing the glass back in. I was afraid if I pushed too hard I would break the glass and cut myself. It is a good concept that needs some work to really make it usable.

Front Load Frame

i received my package today,  one box of the picture frame's had 3 broken one's,  they come in a box of 6, i needed a total of 8 frames, that's why i ordered 2 boxes, so i will be losing 3 out of 6 in 1 box of picture frames.

I've received this 11x14 matted frame this week. When I opened the box, the glass was in shredded pieces in the bottom of the box. This product was wrapped with some bubble wrap. I  felt that there wasn't enough bubble wrap for protection. Additionally, the frame may have been dropped by the carrier?
I can't use this product! This product was not carefully delivered. I've included picture's & contacted support.
