Rated 4 out of 5 by shopshipper I really like the dishes. One of the plates has a deep black spot on it. One of my dessert plates are cracked on the back. I thought that overall the product was packaged very well. The plates may have already been cracked when it was packaged. Overall, I am satisfied. The dishes are very pretty. They can be used for everyday use as well as special gatherings. 05/24/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by MyWordsofLove Knock-off. I bought the Gibson dinnerware set that's almost identical to this one from Mainstay. Though those dishes held up pretty well overall, my kids were really hard on them and our selection was getting a little slim.When I went back to Walmart to purchase another box from Gibson (a tremendously great value), I saw this set from Mainstay. They're nearly identical. In appearance, that is.Quality-wise, though, this set is pretty brittle. All the dishes chip VERY easliy and they're NOT WHITE like the Gibson dishes. They have a dull, greyish color. It might not be such a big deal if you don't have any other white dishes in your collection, but side by side, these are going to look pretty bad.I do believe that the Gibson dishes are being offered by Walmart again. My recommendation would be to go for those, or another set all-together. 05/22/2013
