Mainstays Cotton Duck Sofa Slipcover 4 5 18 22
LOOOOVE IT I had received two very ugly free couches, and desperatley needed to cover them with SOMETHING. I was hesitant to purchase a slip cover because I had read that they were difficult to put on, or they appeared sloppy etc..These worked WONDERS! It was SO easy to put on, and with a few quick adjustments and tucks, I turned these two awful lookin couches into a very cute living room set! I def recommend these to people! The only suggestion I have is to run a steam iron over them before or after you put them on the sofa, because mine appeared very wrinkled. GREAT PRODUCT! and no reason to get the nicer brand, Mainstays worked just fine! 11/02/2009
THE BEST!! I was very scared that this was not going to fit my chunky sofas but they fit like a glove! They were perfect, it does have some stretch to it so it does cover very good and no they are not see through BUT, yes they are very wrinkled and it will show if you do not iron the sides going down the arm of the sofas and in front but as far as the seat part and the arm rest part, they get stretched out and those wrinkles go away but do have the iron ready. I would definitley recommend these to anyone and it is a very good deal at this price, you don't need the pricier ones, these really do work just as good. great value, looks good, physical labor required once it's on, it looks great. we have a pleather sofa set that has been peeling but in otherwise great shape. this was the perfect solution. a few drawbacks, however. it took me a good 45 mins from start to finish to get in on. i used bedskirt pins to hold the cover in place... it likes to slip out when you sit on it. i washed and dried it like other people suggested but still had to iron it to get all the wrinkles out. also, if you have pets, i do not recommend this color as it attracts and holds on to pet hair for dear life. all in all, my sofa set looks great now and i barely spent any money making them presentable. 07/25/2010
Looks great, with alterations Bought this product in store to cover a hand-me-down sofa. The slip cover on its own looked a little sloppy, but infinitely better than the couch we had. After about a weed of having to tuck the slipcover back into place after sitting on it, I purchased some inexpensive black fabric that matched the cover and made individual cushion covers and have used a staple gun to keep the slipcover in place over the rest of the couch. This has made the overall look much more elegant. So if you have some time and sewing skills, this is an excellent product. 02/12/2010
