The sheets are not scratchy. These sheets are not our first Mainstays 200tc sheet purchase. I don't knnow exactly how long we have had our other Ms200tc sheets but it has been more than a few months.Over time they have worn well. I think these sheets are an excellent value. 07/22/2011

gorgeous on the bed These sheets are excellent. For a 200 thread count, they're not as "scratchy" as I expected and they feel like they'll get softer with each use. I like them because I could iron them to a crisp finish if I wanted to, and best of all: they stay cool all night. Couldn't be happier w/both the look, price, and function. 05/10/2011
