The back of the shadow box is removalble, like a standard picture frame. You take off the back and put your display inside or mount to the back board and secure in the shadow box.

We will make pressed flower picture and fill from the back.

What side do you fill from (Front, Back, Top)?

Yes, but the box is cheap plastic. I ended up returning it. I got a wooden shadow box from Michael's and painted it. It is much sturdier. I recommend getting some 'glue dots' to hold the teeth in place.

This shadow box would be fine for shark's teeth in my opinion. It is easy to use. I used mine to frame a starfish I had found on the beach. I used spray adhesive on the paper and threw some sand on it, and it adhered well, then used the spray adhesive and superglue to adhere the starfish. Let it dry well for a couple days and put it together. I am going to do another one but will try using spray shellac on this next one.

Yes, I have used them for star fish I found on the beach, no problems with this purchase.

Well of course depending on the size of the teeth will obviously depend on if it works for you.  I have approximately and 8&quot; x 8&quot; tile diploma in mine and there is more than enough room left over.

I was making a DIY sandbox for my ceremony and this worked great. i would have loved for it to be top loading but a drill helped to handle that for me. All for $7 and free shipping with site-to-store. Worked out great!

great for my prupose!

Perfect ! I made 4 photo's into one and it was the 1st day we got our puppy to a few months, to half a year old and finally 1 year birthday. It was a Christmas gift for my husband and I took our dogs 1st collar and nailed it to the bottom of the frame. Just beautiful and could not ask for a better frame.

8X8 Shadowbox Frame

I checked in the store and they only had the Better Homes and Garden version which costs $2 more. I ordered the Mainstays brand online and when I picked up in store it was...tah dah...the Better Homes and Garden version. Basically the same product but always nice to get more than what you paid for.

As far as being a frame...it frames things proper ;)

Was sent a more expensive model.

This frame was exactly what I needed.  I completed a diamond art project and was wirried it would not fit in a normal thin frame and this shadow box one was perfect!!  Really nice quality for the price.  Didnt want anything too fancy that would take away from my picture.

Nice frame

These shadow boxes are narrow as described. The only thing wrong with them was that some of the metal pieces holding the backing in weren't fastened very well, but that's an easy fix.

Good, exactly what I expected for the price

It has been very hard to find a square shadowbox frame on line.  I came across this 8"x8" shadowbox on Walmart's website.  I ordered 2 of them.  It is the perfect size I needed and the price was exceptional!

Black 8" Square Shadowbox Frame

One out of 4 shadowboxes I purchase reveal broken tabs on the back, or tabs that eventually break. I get refunds and exchange them...just one more thing to do. Otherwise good product.

Good product, but watch out for a problem

These 8"x8" Shadowbox frames are Ok for what I purchased them for, but when I opened one and removed the back, there was No Felt Lining on the inside. Well. for the cost of $9.93 plus tax, these very small shadowboxes should have had some kind of lining, not brown cardboard inside. Please, know that these shadowbox frames are made of plastic and are actually very nice, I just wish they had some kind of felt lining.

Nice But! No Felt Lining!

I was looking for a shadow box for my son's baby memorabilia, and chose this because another review mentioned something about clips in it. Unfortunately, there were no such clips. The shadow box was plastic and the corners were all off except for one. Although the black was crisp and glossy, for me it didn't make up for the bad construction. The shadowbox was fairly shallow (about 1/2 inch) so it also was more like a frame than a shadow box. I ended up buying a plain wooden one at a craft shop and painting it. It took a little more time but it actually looks like a shadow box!
