Rated 1 out of 5★ by Madmarge Cheap for a reason This sifter is horrible! I was trying to sift approximately 2 cups of flour and it took such a long time! When I pulled the trigger, a miniscule amount came out. My arms got sore halfway through. I eventually just covered the top of this with plastic wrap and shook it for the most part while using the handle only once in a while. I would highly recommend one of the sifters that has a handle you turn; this one is more trouble than it's worth if you're sifting more than about 1/2 a cup of dry ingredients. 05/01/2011
Rated 1 out of 5★ by nvd2ceb4 Cheap sifter I only used this sifter twice and will be tossing it in the garbage and will buy an ol' school sifter. Why? Because the two times I used this sifter both flour and pancake flour got stuck underneath the sifter and it took me a loooong time to get the rest of both these powders out. Sometimes Mainstay's products are great and in this case horrible. 02/04/2013

Rated 1 out of 5★ by LilDunk DO NOT BUY!!!! HORRIBLE SIFTER!!! I purchased this sifter due to my old school one with the handle you turn, that I have had for years, needing to be replaced because the sifting screen was falling out. Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give this sifter a try. From now on I will always trust the majority of reviews. I tried to sift flour and barely any flour would come out after 4 or 5 sifts. It was taking so long to sift 3 cups of flour (and powdered sugar) that I just eventually decided it was less stress to not sift at all! I tried it once more using MUCH less flour and still the same results. I'm going out to buy a sifter with the turning handle ASAP! WHAT A WASTE OF MY MONEY AND TIME!!! TRUST ME, DO NOT BUY THIS SIFTER!!! 07/24/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by hcent Love it I make my own flour and need something that gets the job done. This works just as well as the more expensive sifter. Given my hand did get sore but that would happen with any hand sifter. I used it to get chunks of un-ground flour out and it did not clog like many of them would have. 02/01/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by MominMilford Useful traditional kitchen tool for baking. Hard to find a sifter, but Wal-Mart has them! Gave to my young niece for her bridal shower, so she can make Irish Soda bread in the future.Basic kitchen tool, very necessary for baking. Good price, sturdy tool, will last for years. 04/29/2014
