Rated 5 out of 5 by awtroia Great containers for the price. I bought a set of these about a month ago. I was looking for an assortment of sizes with at least one being gigantic, and this was the least expensive option. I have to say these are fantastic! I went back and bought another set because I liked them so much. As far as the review saying things taste like plastic... I don't have that problem. I did open the lids and let them "air out" a bit before filling them, but I don't even think I took the time to rinse them out like you are supposed to. My greatest testament to the lack of plastic taste is this: I use the smallest one to store my butter in the refrigerator so it doesn't get that "fridge taste." Butter absorbs all kinds of nasty flavors, but even the sticks that have been left open taste as fresh as can be. No plastic flavor here! 07/11/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sauderhouse Real Value! There's no way I'd spend a fortune on the expensive Tupperstuff when Walmart has these. Like the other happy reviewer, I too have bought 2 sets as well, and I'm off to Walmart tomorrow for a third set. I love to bake/cook, and I also keep a well stocked pantry with several types of flours, sugars, etc. These not only keep everything airtight/dry, you can see the contents with a glance, they're easy to open/close and they stack beautifully as well! Plastic smell???? I washed and air dried mine, and had no problem whatsoever. As usual Walmart, another great product! 09/19/2011

I use them for dry cat food, laundry soap, corn meal, powdered sugar, brown sugar, flour, sugar, baking mix. Many more things too! 11/12/2011

The good seemed to out-weigh the bad, so I ordered two sets of them on-line for in-store pick-up. (A nice and easy way to shop.)I washed them in my dishwasher and when they dried, I didn't notice a plastic smell that some reviewers mention. They're fine. I put all eight of them to work immediately. I'm satisfied enough with these that I'll probably go back and pick up a Main Stays canister to store cookies in the cupboard. 11/22/2011
