I was very pleased with the directions and the ease of putting it together. I am very satisfied with how it looks. As an older person this will serve my needs for many years to come. Rated 5 out of 5 by DIYMommyof2 WOOD GLUE I bought this dresser for my 7 year old son. He has had it for about 6 months and it is still in great shape. I use wood glue on every piece of furniture that I put together. We have not had any trouble with the drawers falling apart as others have mentioned. Also as far as the drawers being hard to open, when I first put them together I had some trouble with two of them but I took the plastic guides off and relined them so they were level now we have no problems opening or closing them. 04/28/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by corrinmarie Glad I didnt believe reviews after reading all of the bad reviews, i was concerned about purchasing this item...it looks great and is very sturdy.. a lot of people say that the drawer bottoms fall out, but i think they are unaware that the drawers are only supposed to support up to 20 lbs..i did not use anything extra to hold the bottoms in place..the instructions and pieces were made perfectly clear..the only downside was it said it took an hour to assemble and it took two and half...but i love it and i am going to purchase another once..cheap, sturdy, and easy 01/14/2010
