No, I would not recommend rolling the mattress up for travel. The mattress is actually to heavy to do any kind of mobile changing around. I would only use the mattress at home.

It can be re-folded, but is sort of cumbersome. It is (folded) about the size of a really large feather pillow. Perhaps you could fold and use a space bag to flatten it more?

No--I wish you could, but it's bulky. A twin one folded up is the bigger than an overstuffed bed pillow.

Depends how you're traveling. If you have your own car, you probably could. If you're flying by plane and you want to take this with your baggage, probably not. It would be too big. I think you'd have a difficult time rolling/folding it up to a small enough size. But if you have room in your car for something larger, it's light and easy to fold. It's just not going to be compact enough to make it worth your while to put into luggage. Better to get another one online and have Walmart ship it to wherever you're going, or pick one up at a local store once you get there!

I have the twin size. After using it,  I was able to fold it and put it back in the original packaging.

Shipping size? Can you fold it or roll it up to put in a bag for travel?

No way! Its like one huge sponge. If you put it in a washing machine it would get torn up into pieces. Unless you used a front load machine that tumbles. But then it would have to be a really big machine to hold all of it. But even then all the dirt and stuff would be trapped between the layers of foam and still not get washed out. About the only way that I see that you could wash one would be to lay it out on the grass or on a pick-nic-table and take a hose to it.
Or you could maybe put it in the bathtub full of soapy water and gently work it with a sponge mop. Then use a shower head on a hose to rinse it out.
Overal, its a lot easier to just toss it and replace it. Even if you did try to wash it you wouldn't really be able to get it very clean.

I would NOT recommend that unless you want to replace your washer.

NO.it is basically foam and will fall apart. if something spills on it, it soak up and probably ruin.

i wouldnt wash it beause it may shrink and it already run small so dont wash it... if you have a full you need a queen if you have a queen you need to buy a king and so fourth

I own one. I don't think it would hold up to a machine washing. It was fairly flimsy. But for the price, you could try it and not be out a fortune if it doesn't make it through the machine.

No this can not be washed at all. It naturaly turns yellow/brown within 3-4 weeks. You can not clean it, you can only replace it.

You could but it would be awkward to move around and it is only 1.25 in thickness I put mine on my bed and then put a cotton wrap around topper on top of it but I think in camping you may rip or tear it by accident maybe if you put it down in the tent then put a sleeping bag over it would be fine.

We took this camping, and it was great. It was just enough to keep you off the ground and comfortable, not to bulky to carry . Looks deceiving when you open it, but it does do the job...

I use mine exclusively for camping. If it should get wet... A little sunshine and a gentle breeze and it goes from saturated to desert in a little over an hour.

I purchased this item in size TWIN XL foam mattress topper for under $10 at my local Walmart, for my Twin-size INTEX air mattress, and it fit perfectly.  My item is 1-1/4 inch thick with the 5-zone feature.

Fits my INTEX Twin air mattress perfectly!

It was time to replace my old mattress topper which had a gel swirl in it but split and came apart very early on. I did my homework as a supportive mattress topper is a necessity for me having back and hip problems and I found this one at Walmart with what I needed at a really great price. I've been using it for about a week and it's just the right height with the support and comfort that I need plus I saved a lot of money over the overpriced ones with unnecessary features.

Support and Comfort and a Really Great Price!

For the money it's well worth it. I guess if you spent a lot more money You could have a great bed topper but for the 10.00 I spent on the pad is working pretty well. I bought it for a pull out bed that is just horrible and it's working well for that so I think if you are on a budget this is the one for you.

Good topper for the money!

I am military, and have a bad accident. My back tends to goes out. I love this, and it feels wonderful to sleep on. I fell asleep much faster. I probably will order a few more, to stack. I ave a photo of it on my foldable cot. Very comfortable.

I have been using these for years!

I bought these for my sons bed for the foam feeling. The mattress was great as is but just to bought it to see how it feels. Its very comfortable. Its not hard or too soft. Its just right & its not to thin. This is a nice addition for your mattress is your missing the foam feel to it.

Very comfortable

I bought this foam topper for making headboard.  It was easy to cut with scissors and did work for me . The only disappointment was with measurement. I thought it would be of 1.25" as it was mentioned  but it wasn't.  So you are planning to buy this be careful,,,,it is not 1.25".

Not as mentioned...

Where to start, first off this is not a true 1.25" topper from end to end. There are only sections of it that is 1.25" with other sections being maybe 1/4" to 1/2" at best. The pad was so tightly packed in its package that when we took it out it had stuck to itself and bits of it ripped off. After letting it set out on top of a extra bed for a day to see if it would expand and maybe get rid of some of the creases we found that only parts of it had expanded and other parts were still flat. Just placing it on our mattress and putting a mattress pad over it made bits of this topper fall off.
Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars for a better quality pad.

Don't Let The Picture Fool You!

Very poor quality.  The center section with the concentric circles was near the stated 1.25", as you moved towards either end it got thinner and thinner where the ends are maybe a 1/4" thick, even after sitting for 48 hours the edges did not expand at all.  Very disappointing purchase.

Ends very thin.

My mat came staind and is unevenly thin in some spots. please view pictures to get a idea of what I'm referring to. it was only $9 and some change and was delivered in one day. So I won't waste my time returning it. I just want to warn others not to purchase.
