    looks better than it s When I received the shoe rack I expected it to look good and I was not disappointed. Except for scratches and nicks, ok. After building the rack (screwing in the screws) it was so wobbly I felt it needed more to make it stand. The screws would not stay tight and the piece just seemed to fall apart with any movement. So I put L brackets in each corner (four L brackets cost $8.00) and then the structure was strong enough to hold shoes. There is something wrong with almost every kind of shoe rack sold, and among the different kinds I have purchased, this looked the best, but was too flimsy without adding brackets to it. liz142 09/06/2009

    Over Priced Piece of Junk Total waste of money. Ordered item online and received it today. Took it out of box to assemble only to find the pre-drilled holes where to big. The screws provided would not hold and kept slipping out. I put everything back in the box and will be returning it tomorrow. CHEAP and NOT WORTH the money! 08/10/2010
    Not a very good value for the money This is a nice shoe rack if it was inexpensive. I bought 2 to stack and they don't quite line up, the lacquer is inconsistent. Some areas do not have lacquer. If this item goes down to $15 or so it would be worth it. At a glance they are nice looking (I had to put the side missing the lacquer against a wall). Not worth the hassle of returning especially because you have no idea whether a replacement wil be better quality. 05/10/2010
