Mafia II (PC) 2 2
Predictable, but fun Mafia 2 plays has so many cut scenes it plays more like an interactive move. The game is on rails the whole way; you can take a break from the main storyline to explore, steal cars and such, but then you have to go back to the specific tasks. Car driving on a keyboard is frustrating, not sure if it supports a steering wheel or not, but would be handy. You do get to steal a LOT of different period type cars - not the real thing, but close enough. And gratuitous killing, of course. The storyline is excellent, as is the voice acting, so you get an outstanding visceral experience. Dinged one star on rating for lack of depth in storyline/gameplay, and 2 stars on value because at $50, while the going rate for a new game, is overpriced on an interactive move. 09/12/2010
Fun To Play Game was for my dad. He played it on every difficulty level and wished it was more challenging. Good game. 10/26/2010
