I bought this game on Walmart.com because the store would not honor the online prices. 4 days later the price dropped by over half... I took my receipt to the store and they did refund me the difference, so I am happy about that... And hubby loves the game. Win win situation!

Bought this for the husband for Christmas but he seen and wouldnt wait, but absolutely loves it! the graphics are amazing and the options for play are great. great game to show off the wii u capability.

Need to adapt to play calling via touch screen. Otherwise a great game. Wish EA games would return Madden to Nintendo platform for 2014.

  • The Wii U is a whole new game system. It's the next generation of Nintendo console gaming. Unfortunately, the odd name of the system has caused a lot of confusion. Most people confuse the game pad/tablet as merely an add-on to the Wii, but that's not the case. The Wii U has more power than the XB360 and PS3 and is completely backwards compatible with your Wii game library/peripherals. Most stores are confused as well. My local Walmart corrals the Wii & Wii U games together in the same area, further adding to the confusion. The system is a good deal, especially if you're well invested in Wii games and peripherals. Bear in mind though, regular Wii controllers are not compatible with the new system. They must be Wii Motion Plus controllers. :)

  • No it wont work on a regular wii wystem, and the wii u has better graphics and an awesome pad.

  • The difference is, Wii U has better graphics, it's also a handheld system, but can play Wii games, and the Wii is just a console. Everything the Wii can do, the Wii U can do better. The Wii can NOT play Wii U games, but Wii U can play Wii games.

  • Yes, the wii has been out for 6 years and the Wii u just got released this past November and is a newer model compared to the regular Wii.
