This MTD bagger fits current 38" and 42" decks of models made prior to 2009, including Yard Man, Yard Machines, Troy Bilt, Huskee, White and Bolens. This MTD bagger's fast-attach assembly helps simplify installation and use. A 6.5 bushel capacity eliminates the need for constant emptying of this lawn mower bagger during heavy use. This product has an easy-open lid for fast, convenient dumping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by littleLB Was difficult to install on my mower. My husband had to drill new holes for mounting brackets after trying to make it work on our Yardman lawn mower. It had said that it was universal to the 38 or 42 inch MTD mowers. Which it said that included Yardman. After much work and trying to figure what to do, he has it fitting well. It would have helped if they had mentioned that new holes might have to be drilled. He has only tried it once but it seems to work fine. 08/26/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by SAHandyman Nice design, poor install instruction & operation The design is nice... however, the installation instruction were poor. The diagrams were okay, but the instructions to erect it were incomplete. I had to figure most of it out myself. The bagger frame did not line up with the hitch and the pin did not fit the hitch. I had to make and install my own securing device to mount it to the hitch.The operation is shotty. I made quite a few passes in the yard and only got about a half bag of grass and leaves. 08/02/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by WeederEater Doesn't fit This thing doesn't fit the Murray 17HP 42" mower i have had since 2005, and there is no way outside of welding a new mounting plate setup on the tail of my machine to make it fit. Don't know what Murrays this fits but the manufacturer needs to make specific model info available 01/01/2013
