    A Huge Sac

    Customer review by SteelSalamander

    5.0 stars by SteelSalamander

Great bag for the Price!!! huge when assembled! fits over any rear rack on/for a bike. The straps on the inside of the bag definatly secures it to the frame of a rack with no worries about it falling off. It comes with 4 pvc plates, these need to be persuaded into the bottom of the bag to make it rigid. it doesnt say where and how but if you find the slits on the bottom you will see where they fit. dont worry about breaking the plastic pieces or the slits into where they go into, just pop them in there and push down. Besides that, its great to hold school books, alot of them, or groceries, or anything you want to brings with you ona short trip. Collapses the same way you put it together for a nice looking briefcase if you would take it inside a store or class. GREAT STUFF!

    Sweet Deal!!

    Customer review by GTSenorita

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of these bags. Each bag is approx 13 in W X 12 in H X 6.5 in Deep. Well constructed, with added bonus of sturdy tire side panels, and floor panels. I inserted the panels in about 1 minute. These bags are a super value - you will not find anything close to these for the price. I was going to buy more compact bags, but I carry work clothes in the bags and did not want my clothes to get wrinkled by stuffing them in compact bags. This is not a problem with these bags. I use my bike to commute 14 miles to and from work, and for light shopping in town. Get these - and enjoy the ride!!

Easy to install and can be removed in about a minute or less! Did not have to modify anything. Plenty of room for groceries! Here are a couple of pics.

    • your question is a bit vague. this is a set of 2 bags. are you asking if you can put 2 sets of these on a rack? if so, the answer is no. the set is made to fit one rack completely. you would need a double long rack to accomodate 2 of these

    • It is two bags in one. (One for each side) I don't think you would want or need to buy two of them.

    • Your bike rack must have struts that attach to the bike frame near the rear forks. Bike racks that attach only to your seatpost will not work well and may fail due to too much weight. Even if it works for a short time, eventually the weight may cause seatpost-mounted racks to fail. I don't know if the Universal Bike Carrier Rack you mention is seatpost-mounted or frame-mounted.

    • This question is not clear! There are two bags in the pannier. One on each side of the rear wheel. There isn't room for than one set of two bags.

    • No bags are big enough to take up the full length of the rack. Only way to do it you would have to find a way to extend the rack

    • I don't think you would need them this bag sets over the top of your back rack. and has 3 snap buckles that attach it to the rack. I travel 20 miles every day with groceries and my laptop over a unpaved clay logging road to town. Never had a problem with the bag coming loose or moving once it is secured.

    • I don't think you need them. It has a clip that goes around your seat post (or rack) and one on each side to secure it to the racks down frame. Very nice product for the price. It won't fall off.

    • You probably could, but I didn't need anything else to attach them. If you want them attached more securely, you might try something other than zip-ties because zip-ties have to be cut off if you decide to remove your panniers.

    • Yes you can. If your rack has a spring loaded holder on top you zip it to that. I just use the holder and that is very secure. Also if you don't zip them you can take them on and off. They have a handy handle on them for that purpose.
