Rated 3 out of 5★ by Earl25 Ok, but over hyped Ok, this machine for the money is worth it. However, I was very mislead by the reviews. The "T" design of the base is pretty poor. The main part of the frame sits in a black plastic channel and is secured by a plastic wheel that you hand tighten. This is good for breaking the machine down, but it allows about 1" play to the left and 1" to the right not matter how tight. You take 1" of movement and at 45' to the plate it can # and has # hit the batter. That was the purpose of buying this was to let the 6-8 yr olds not be afraid. I remedied this by drilling a hole behind the release handle. I use 10" land scaping spikes in the front two holes and one in the rear hole that I drilled. It keeps the machine on target left to right and will put the ball over the plate #sometimes the inside, sometimes the outside which is good# about 85% of the time. It is very sensitive to weight. A ball weighing 5.1oz will cross the plate about 8" higher than a ball weighing 5.2oz, so it is imperative to use newer clean/dry balls. Overall, it accomplishes the mission. Just more like a 3 star out of the box, not 4.5. 04/29/2014
Rated 4 out of 5★ by SlRAtlR This has been a great purchase. The product arrived quickly and on the expected arrival date. It was easy to assemble and the directions to use were fairly easy to understand. So far, it has been consistent with delivering accurate pitches to multiple players and has been a beneficial purchase, as it has been used at least 2-3 days per week for my son's entire youth baseball team to practice with. 05/17/2014
