Best Mouse I have used this marble mouse for over 10 years. I'm an avid gamer of both first person shooters and MMO's and I can easily sit gaming from between 4 to 8 hours. The track ball can be easily removed for cleaning when it gets sluggish (it should have a smooth glide). There is no picking up the mouse for readjusting or slipping off the mouse pad with these... just a comfortable simple highly accurate mouse.If I have one complaint it's that it is missing a scrolling wheel. Some game features require a scroll wheel and this is not a feature on this mouse. 01/01/2011
Cheap at twice the price I have been using these marble mice for over ten years, and I STILL have the original one I bought 12 years ago. The Logitech marble mouse is, quite simply, the most robust, durable, ergonomic mouse you can find at any price. We have really tested the durability of these mice in our office (often logging tens of thousands of "clicks" in one day), and they simply do not fail. I have even used them outside in below-zero temperatures, and they still work. They are a pleasure to use, occupy very little space on your desk, clean up in seconds, and are very easy on your arm/hand when compared to conventional mice. Also, since the marble is the actual medium the laser reads, this mouse can be used on any surface (rock, dirt, knee, etc.) and still function normally. They are simple, honest, well-engineered tools suitable for left (like me) or right-handed use.My only complaint (and it is a minor one) is the elongate form can sometimes get uncomfortable in the hand, and cause thumb-cramps if you use it for 6 or more hours non-stop (although, admittedly, this is probably a physical limitation of the human body, and not a design flaw). Also, the marble movement takes some getting used to, but most people adapt in only a couple of days.Overall, you cannot go wrong with this mouse. Use it for a couple of days, and you will wonder how you ever managed without it: it is VASTLY superiour to any conventional mouse. Well done Logitech! 12/03/2010
Best Mouse Ever I am a leftie and have used the marble mouse exclusively for years and years. Though I am a laptop user, I carry my marble mouse wherever I go. It is much quicker and more accurate than the touchpad.I have bought marble mice for co-workers over the years and have made many converts. It does take a couple of days, folks say, to get used to its ease of use over their standard mice, but then it becomes one with the user.For those with carpal tunnel like symptoms, the marble mouse is incredible.Nothing but superlatives...durable, ergonomic, wonderful! 11/29/2010
