Logitech Gaming Mouse G300 4.1 5 7 8
Just ONE thing i very much dislike i love the feel of this mouse, and also like where the extra buttons are. but i HATE HATE HATE the cheapy scrolling wheel. if it had the wheel the G500 and G9x have, it would be perfect :P 04/13/2012
My new best friend! I have had this mouse now for about a month and I have to say that I am very pleased with this purchase. I'm a gamer and I'm very picky on my equipment. I originally bought it because my expensive mouse broke and this mouse seemed like a good deal for how cheap it was and I wouldn't go back to any other mouse. I'll keep it simple and break down it for you.Pros:• Fits great in my hand. I claw and palm the mouse depending on the game and it is comfortable both ways even after 4 or more hours of use. Also its left or right handed for the lefties out there.• Tons of buttons! 9 total programmable buttons and there is a button to switch the profile on the fly.• Looks dog-gone sexy and with many color options for everyones taste.• You can program the mouse to switch DPI on the fly. Perfect for sniping.• Tracks smoothly across my mouse pad like its on an air cushion.• You can store profiles on the mouse itself so you can take it anywhere and still have your profiles.Cons:• It's a little light in my hand. I like my mouse with just slightly more weight but that's just my preference it may be perfect for you.• I wish there were side buttons. Sometimes I wanna hit 3 buttons at once but I only have 2 fingers• There are 8 color options but I'd like a color mixer better. Not really a big deal though 8 is still a lot. Conclusion:For what you pay you get a great piece of gaming equipment. Cool styling, tons of functionality, and great comfort make this mouse a steal. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming mouse. 01/22/2012
Couldn't be more perfect I don't have much experience with gaming equipment as I am new to the gaming community, but I do have to say this mouse is more than acceptable. I love the three profiles you can switch between at any time and that you can customize everything about those profiles, including the DPI settings for each one. I've seen a lot of complaints about the design and how it's not comfortable, but being someone who claws, I think this mouse has the perfect ergonomics. It was designed to be ambidextrous so if you don't need an ambidextrous mouse, don't get it. Very easy to use mouse, no special training needed to use it, you don't really even need to download the software unless you change your profiles. As for satisfaction, I couldn't be more happy with this mouse. 01/07/2012
liking this mouse more over time Glad that Logitech is releasing some symmetrical gaming mice again. As a "claw grip" + low dpi gamer, often the sculpted style mice aren't so fun to pick up in game for me. I do very much like the "grips" and deeper "cutouts" on the sides of this mouse for my style - it's easy to quickly pick this mouse up and reorient. For those complaining that Logitech needs to make another MX518... Go look up the G400 mouse and stop bashing this mouse for lack of research. It's why I had to write this review - why they didn't find the older G400 before buying the recently released G300 and then complain it wasn't like the MX518... do some research before buying, and then complaining that this product isn't like one that has already existed for a year. Ugh.My only complaints are that I wish there was a little more granularity for the dpi settings on the lower end, and that on the three profiles offered in setpoint, one seems to be "hard coded" to only allow a USB polling rate of 500 reports per second. I don't know why this is?Personally, I really wish Logitech would make an updated MX310 design. Just add a tilt wheel and release around the $20-25 range (and some marketing) and it may just dominate the entry-level performance mouse market =D Then again the G300 with a tilt wheel would probably be even better... ;D 10/15/2011
