Mix N' Match Locker Nightstand 1 1
great item I have been looking for a nightstand for my 10 year old son for awhile. I found this originally on a similar store's...starts with a "T"...website, for a lot more money. I was also able to find it on the massive on-line retailer website...starts with an "A"...again, at a higher cost. I was very excited to find it for a GREAT price on Walmart's website. I used site-to-store for free shipping, which was very convenient since we have a store nearby.The nightstand is fantastic! It is a lot bigger than I expected...very sturdy and heavy. It came in two boxes, and I was able to load them into the car myself, although they were not light. I had looked at the measurements beforehand, but I was still surprised at the size. It came up a bit higher than my son's twin bed, so my husband used his hacksaw to cut the legs just above the bottom shelf. Although it looked great next to his bed before we cut it....we preferred it to be a bit shorter. He still can use one shelf, which holds a lot of stuff, plus the big drawer. Ours came with 3 drawer fronts: blue, white and pink. We used the blue one and its a really pretty color...dark royal blue. The top is a nice, big size. Plenty of room for his clock radio/i-pod charger and a bunch of books. I like how the top is light brown/faux wood.This is not a flimsy/lightweight product....I found his friend sitting on it the other day, and I was not worried about it holding up. We have only been using it for a month now, but so far I have no complaints. 01/09/2012
