Great reliable router Not sure why all the negative reviews on this product. I have been using one of these at home for over 2 years, never had any trouble with it. Evertime the power goes out or I get a surge it just comes back on and works perfectly. It was very simple to set up, has good security, and great range (I bought the high gain antenas). This product may not be as "user friendly" for advanced settings, but do you really want a wizard to set up advanced settings? I use this router at home, at work, and whenever I set up a hot spot for clients I recommend this router. 11/13/2007
Works great, simple & cheap!(Xbox 360 Compatible) I have Windows Vista. Just run the Set-up CD, Follow instructions when you get to where it says plug in router, stop. I need to unplug my cable modem and plug it back in so it would resent itself. When my modem came back up I went to the next step which is to plug in the router. The CD says its looking for router. But Windows Vista should have a window come up that asked you to pick your new connection(home, private, public). I picked home. At this time Vista had completed my set-up for me. The Set-up CD says there is an Error, router not connected properly. At this point just exit out of the set-up CD and you router should be ready. Probably don't need the Set-up CD with Vista, but you do need to follow the first steps on it in order.Over all it took me about 5 minutes to get it up and going for an Xbox 360. Seems to work great. I like the fact that it has wired ports and Wireless. I have our PC wired and Xbox wireless. And for the price you can't beat this deal. There are only certain routers that are compatible you use with the 360 and as long as it says Vista compatible then it works on 360. 12/18/2008
POOR Quality When my old hub finally died from years of excellent service, I replaced it with this Linksys Wireless-G router (with SpeedBooster) but have been utterly disappointed ever since. My connection is constantly dropped for no reason. Or only one of the two computers connected to it will be dropped for no apparant reason. The only way to repair it is to unplug the router for 30 seconds, plug it back in and wait another 30 seconds for the Linksys software to recognize that the connection is indeed there. There is never a problem with the cable company's connection as I can connect the cable directly to the computer without any problems. I would not recommend this router as it is far from dependable and only more aggravating than it's worth. 07/15/2007
amazing I highly recommend this product, i originally got it for my gaming console and as soon as i got it i hooked it up and it only took a few minutes. once it was all set i got the best performance i could expect. The signal was so strong i could stay any were in my house and got a 100%. If your looking for a router with a good performance and good price this is the one, i highly recommend it. 03/23/2008
