    • A. There is a bar in the back that glides and it has a bolt hole every 6 inches. So it adjusts to many different levels. to adjust backboard height from 8 to 10 ft.

    • A. this item has an adjustment bar that attaches to the pole and the goal. You just pull the bar off of the pin that it was on and put it on another pin. There is a locking lever to keep the bar in it's place.

    • A. Adjustable from 8 feet to 10 feet in 6 inch increments. Super easy to adjust. You just pull the handle off the holding pin and raise or lower it. Counter balance spring makes raising and lowering very easy. My 11 year old daughter can do it easily with one hand.

    • A. With the "Lifter Arm" - you tilt the plastic locking cam up (vertical position), pull the lifter arm forward (out of the locked position) and push up/lowers the hoop or pull down/raises the hoop. Then put the locking cam back in the horizontal position.

    Does it come partially assembled?

    • A. It took me a little less than two hours doing it by myself. The directions recommend two people. If you're handy/mechanical you should have no problems.

    • A. Takes a little time to put together. If you can read and use tools, then you can do it. No it does not come parteally assembled.

    • A. Nothing is partially assembled. The directions to me were easy to follow. The packaging of the hardware is nicely packed according to the various steps. Each step clearly communicates the tools and parts necessary to complete the task. Nothing needed beyond basic garage hand-tools. It would help to have two box end wrenches of each size necessary. I did it with my six year old in just under 2 hours and we were shooting hoops.

    • A. That depends on how good you are with nuts, bolts, washers, and wrenches. I am moderately mechanically inclined and I found it somewhat difficult to assemble. There are many parts. Requires several sizes of wrenches and sockets are very useful as well. A rubber mallet is also called for but not absolutely required. You will need 2 adults (or 1 adult and 1 teenager) for some steps. Some steps are tricky and I had to back up and redo a couple of them. It is not partially assembled. Takes about 2 hours to assemble and then another hour to get 6 bags of sand into the ballast. Water would be much faster and the instructions say you can use water but I highly recommend sand as it is much heavier and provides a more stable ballast and won't leak out if the base gets a small crack or hole in it.

    • A. Nope. It's all parts. It's pretty easy to assemble though. There were a couple times I needed to take a close look at the instructions to make sure i was using the correct nuts, bolts, etc, but for the most part it was intuitive and you could do it just by looking at the diagrams.

    • A. Nope! Not hard to put together. And no, it doesn't come partially assembled. My husband had it together in a couple of hours with the help of our 6 y/o son. The most time consuming part is filling with sand (if you choose that option). Also, some of the parts were tucked into other parts, so we briefly thought some parts were missing. So before you call service, check inside all the parts.

    • A. There are two rollers at the base. You have to tilt the assembly almost 45 degrees in order to roll it around. You'll need quite a bit of leverage in order to tilt it, and turning it takes a little wrangling too (if you don't want to scrape or damage the plastic base too much).

    • A. We have the base filled with water and I would say for most people they will need 2 people to move it any distance beyond a foot or two, or you chance leaning it over enough to tip it. With two people, its easy!
