Was fairly easy to put together and seems sturdy and rigid; does the job.   Top lid stays open when you need it.

Btw, about a year ago I bought a competitor's deck box.  Put it together and when trying to move it, it fell apart - very flimsy.  I returned it.

I like this item and would recommend.

GREAT Deck Box

Needing to add storage for an expanding roof deck created during the pandemic to find some precious outdoor space in the city, we added a second one of these large storage containers after being happy with how well the first one performed after almost a year totally exposed to the elements from the broiling summer sun to the freezing, windy, snowy nights.  It does the job and is easy to put together.

Keeps things dry and in place.

The Lifetime 130 gallon outdoor storage unit is exactly as expected. Instructions weren't too hard to follow. It took 2 people to build and is solid. We needed a place to store cushions, camping chairs and outdoor game sets. This storage unit is large enough to hold everything %26 protect it from the weather. The top is sturdy %26 large enough for 2 or 3 adults to sit on as extra seating. The sale price of $97 was a bonus.

great deck box.  hubby put it together in about 20 min  (use suggested power tools)   this holds all my gardening tools.

The unique design (quite smart), plastic quality/stiffness (a BIG plus), bug security, and extreme ease of assembly beats all the other deck boxes, hands down. The few included screws all hit home and tighten very solidly, adding further to the stiffness of the entire assembly. On top of this, the Lifetime box has TWO gas lift cylinders, which few (if any) others have. When the lid is closed, it snaps shut....and opening is literally a reverse snap. This is one high quality deck box! I'm using mine in my back yard to hold my Mantis tiller, handheld gas blower, two BBQ cylinders, two bug zappers, and a fold-up wagon (from Costco)....and it still has just enough room for all my patio furniture covers (which is why I bought it in the first place). I've had previous Rubbermaid deck boxes, and inspected the latest Suncast and Keter, but was pleasantly surprised that none have the robustness of this Lifetime box. A great find!!

So far so good.  Bought two.  First took two hours to put together, the second 45 minutes.  The hardest part was the screws on the hinge, not a lot of room to work.  If there is a fail point that will be it.  It doesn't grasp on a lot of material.  I really like these otherwise.  Thick cushions for 6 chairs fit nicely plus a few more thin cushions along edges.  Underneath all is a lounge chair cushion.  They're not so deep you have to go digging.  The second will be used for umbrella, gravity chair, hammock etc.  I bought these as they seemed tight.  I don't think mice will get in which is the big problem.  Torrential storms this weekend and everything is dry.

Fairly easy assembly.  This is the second one that I got for my shooting range to hold different types of targets and equipment.  Plenty of room, and, in my case, good for sorting AR500 and action targets from paper and plinking targets with other items.  These are kept in a wooded area in all sorts of weather, including surviving harsh winters.

Good Condensed Storage Unit

Arrived yesterday and is perfect!  Very roomy and holds 2 sets of golf clubs plus other stuff.  We needed this for our balcony in downtown Chicago for extra storage.   Was just a little tight to fit across the end where we wanted it and my husband had the BRILLIANT idea to make it a "closet" - SO great!  See pictures.

The plastic sides were just slightly bowed, probably from heat, and all joints did not mate correctly. I missed that until the end and it was too late to correct. Sliding to walls and base together with all lock points engaged is critical. Overall it will work fine as outdoor storage. Still looks fine despite having to bang walls with mallat to get a fit. Only German instructions in box but I am technically inclined. Had to pay real close attention to which holes got screws and which did not. Like the spring action on the lid and size. Picture show those critical mating points on the bottom. Poorly designed IMO.

Plastic joints not designed well

Reached the final step of attaching the door to the box, the holes on the metal plate and storage box do not align. I guess they have no QA done prior to shipping.
