Rated 1 out of 5 by BigButtuski unimpressed and disappointed I've used LifeScan products for nearly 20 years, and from a consumer point of view, the Delica is a step backwards..I recently purchased a OneTouch UltraMini meter, and this is the lancing device you get by default.I find the spring and lancets inadequate. On the deepest setting, this thing barely taps the top layer of skin, not drawing enough blood for an adequate sample.The lancets are proprietary, limiting your options to the LifeScan product only.The build quality feels cheap- especially the adjustment wheel, which doesn't turn smoothly as you would expect with a quality product.And to add further insult, if you buy the UltraMini meter, the case is designed to only hold THIS lancing device, which has a unique shape, making use of another lancing device less convenient. (What happened to the elastic band, LifeScan?)My experience with this latest product has left me unimpressed and disappointed. 06/21/2012
