Rated 5 out of 5★ by mmmes The active person's first aid kit The backpack is a combination nylon and mesh which will out last the included supplies (which can always be replenished). One nice feature is the added padding on the portion of the pack that rest on your back. Which, assuming you placed something a bit heavier in the back, would be nice while hiking, mountain biking etc.. activities.Ordered a second one for the boat! 11/26/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Geotech For the vehicle This is a good place to start. The kit is lightweight, compact, and easy to carry for extended time periods. There is room to add supplies which can be done to suit one's needs. I will add a few more first aid items such as a flexible splint, some bulky dressings, a field tourniquet. Also a versatile knife or compact multi tool, a drinking straw filter, small amount of fishing gear, iodine pills, and lightweight plastic sheeting to name a few. It will never be everything you need, but a few multiple use items can go a long way while in a pinch for a day or two. The intent for this kit is to add to my girlfriends vehicle tote (works out of state) that houses all of her emergency cold weather gear. In heavy snow rural areas, the possibility is a reality to be stranded on the side of the road for some time with no help in sight. The $30ish sale price is worth a backpack and a few emergency items, but I would not have paid the $50ish listed price for it. 11/05/2013
