Rated 5 out of 5★áby Charlie Great Printer, would recommend We purchased the Lexmark X364dn for our office of about 10 people. It has many of the things we were looking for that our old printer did not have with the exception of being able to scan/print Legal size documents. Although you can scan them in through the document feeder to your computer and then print them using the manual paper feeder (make sure you have set up your paper size to legal or it will pull from the regular paper tray) but this is not convenient especially if you have a 2 sided document and the printer is shared by the whole office, means a lot of running back and forth and hoping no one else prints anything. Prints very fast but is not the quietest printer out there, does have a quite mode but prints considerably slower then. Also takes a little longer to warm up then our old printer did. I like the web page interface, made setup easier. I like that you can check the toner balance and have it send you an email when toner is low. It was easy to set up the email accounts and the fax accounts and easy to scan a document to your email. We did find it emails documents faster when we put our Servers IP addy in the set up part instead of the Servers name. I like that you can change the #ÔÇÖs around on these if you need to change the order of people or add an individual in alphabetical order. I would recommend printing the lists out and posting, this was easier then scrolling through looking for the correct person to email and then you can use the shortcut feature. I like the shortcut buttons; although you do have to press the start button twice, first time is to verify you have the correct person/# and the second to actually scan/send the document. It will do envelopes and labels but again you have to set the manual paper feeder up first or it will just pull from the regular tray. One really nice feature is Lexmark offers a High Yield toner for this machine on their Return Program which means they were the cheapest to get the toner from. Over all it is a great printer/scanner and we are satisfied with our purchase and would recommend to anyone who does not have to do a lot of legal documents. 01/19/2011
Rated 3 out of 5★áby troupga Great printer, other jobs a chore We purchased the machine to use all of the functions. The scan utility is cumbersome, the fax works o.k. (though I was surprised I couldn't fax via ethernet). Using any paper other than generic copy paper, especially labels, causes all sorts of bells and lights to blink. The printer has a hard time realizing any jam (or perceived jam) is gone. We have to turn it off for the full 10-seconds to convince it. 07/12/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★áby StevenS Great, especially for the money Except for the glass copy surface, which only accomodates an 8.5"x11" document (the Automatic Document Feeder, though, will scan a legal size document), the producet is great, especially for the money. I've owned a Lexmark T630 and a Lexmark Optra S1250 previously, so I'm big on Lexmarks and laser printers. I changed from the S1250 because I wanted an AIO (printer together with a fax, scanner, & copier). The only "trouble" I've had with it, was getting the Fax set up correctly ring-wize (which was more my problem than anything). 11/13/2010
Rated 4 out of 5★áby Drakers Nice Printer I've used this printer for about 2 months now and I am generally well satisfied with its performance. The user's manual needs some work. For example, it doesn't mention that there is a utility program Lexmark Scan Center that helps out greatly with scanning. The controls are fairly easy to use except that the "Content" LED's are too bright; when one is lit it is so bright that I can't read the text next to it so I have to cover the LED to be able to see what is selected.Another issue is printing envelopes. I load an envelope into the manual feed tray and then try to print from Word but instead of it printing I get a message telling me to load an envelope. These are fairly minor issues and overall I really like this printer. Tech support was fast and helpful, another plus. This printer replaces an older HP multi-function. I gave up on HP years ago because of the lack of support. So far Lexmark has done a good job in that department. 05/03/2011
Rated 4 out of 5★áby MIKE CAPABLE OF HANDLING LOTS OF PRINTING Sometimes I have print jobs that keep the printer going most of an hour at a time. No problem for the x364dn. Cartridges last a long time. 11/02/2010
Rated 5 out of 5★áby George Laird Great start I just got the X364dn to replace a different Lexmark multifunction I bought about two years ago. This one is only black/white which I expect to be more economical than my old color. My review is based on initial setup ... but the setup of this printer was very easy. I am using both PC and Mac. Previously, I had a great deal of trouble interfacing with the Mac. It was seamless this time. I could never get the Scan-to-Computer function to work with my Mac (only my PC) but I literally had it up and going in less than 5 minutes. The printing is plenty fast enough for any normal home or office use. The fax setup through the web interface was not problem and use of the fax function has been easy. I do not plan on using the scan-to-email function although it has that capability. The copy speed was very good and the quality nearly as good as a big copy machine.I honestly felt like my old machine was a first generation model (in fact it was) that was trying to stretch features onto an affordable multifunction. This new printer feels much more polished and user friendly. Hopefully it stays that way but at this point I definitely recommend it. 05/20/2010
