Great I was so happy when i bought a 60" lcd that the day i bought it, I spent most of the night looking for a mount to place it on my fire place. However, to my disappointment no one had any in stock. (fyi. the only place that did was Home Depot and it cost around $200) So I decided to look on the web. By far this product was the cheapest and had the best quility of any other place I researched. I also went the free ship to store route and my product came a lot quicker than i could of ever imagined. The product had step by step instructions and the install was complete with tv mounted within 20 to 35 minutes. However, I used to do this for a living so the average person might take a little longer but trust me it's worth it. It even had a leveler on the mount to let you know where center is. Great Customer Service!!! Had some questions with my mount so I called levelmount and they answered right away. I have a TV that has a non-standard bolt pattern so they overnighted a special adapter to me at no charge. These guys are awesome! 11/19/2008
46" mounted above fireplace and it's super stable. The kit included all the hardware, although you only end up using 4 screws/washers for the bracket to wall and 4 bolts/washers for the arms to tv.The most important thing for me was using a GOOD STUD FINDER. The one that came with the kit seemed to work also, but it did not give me the confidence of all the lights/beeps you get with the higher end stud finder. Once studs are found and marked, it is straight forward drill and screw install.I used a Black n Decker stud finder with laser leveler so there was no need for relying on the built in bubble leveler, although the built in one showed bubble in the center once it was up so I assume it is accurate also.This was my first install so I did not know what to expect, but there was nothing to worry about in the end!It was much easier than I was expecting, no need to pay $400 for someone to come install 8 screws/bolts:)If you are thinking about wall mounting, get this product and go get a nice studfinder.Overall, an excellent product at an excellent price. 12/08/2008
Nice sturdy mount for a great price. very easy to install, i have it attached to 3 studs so it isn't going anywhere. one thing i would suggest is you only drill one hole and bolt that one first before you try to level it with the installed level. i did this just out of habit and stood back. the right side was way lower than the left side. i had to put my own level on it to get it right. the installed level was WAY off. the stud finder was spot on. i knew where the stud was within a few inches anyway because i was centering the TV with an electrical outlet. i just didn't know what side of the stud the outlet was mounted on :) if you want to hide the wires i would suggest going to one of the big box hardware stores and get a few old work low voltage rings(orange) i put a 4x4 one over the bracket(tv hides it) and a 2x4 one down behind my entertainment center then fished all the wires from my DVR,DVD,Wii, etc. tv on the wall with no wires showing anywhere. if you decide to move your TV you could just get some blank covers to put on the oldwork rings. 07/27/2010
