Rated 3 out of 5★ by MikeAZ Design flaw negates capacity for blu-rays...again! This matches my real wood black bookcases, and my old dvd holder($20 Walmart) of the same look/style had finally reached its limit. It's ez to put together, but one minor problem-THE DREADED FIXED MIDDLE SHELF. My old one suffered from this same problem-and I didn't care for $20. Basically(for all you blu-ray collectors out there), it has a shelf that's height can't be moved/adjusted. This presumably was added for sturdiness, and it's completely unnecessary. What do they think you're using it for, gold bars? What it actually accomplishes is leaving you shelf that's too short(right in the middle where everyone can see it), and one at the bottom that's too tall even for the old, larger dvd cases. Sure, you can move the other shelves around, but you'll always have those 2 weird sizes. I chose to lay my Xbox games on their side on the "too short" shelf. This mainly happens because there's what we call boxed sets and steelbooks for blu-ray(The Dark Knight, Bourne trilogy, Band of Brothers, etc.). They're too tall to fit in the normal size blu-ray space, which forces you to adjust the shelf height, which screws the whole thing. In fairness, it's not listed as a blu-ray storage rack(multimedia), but who wants to lay some on thier side to reach maximum capacity? I didn't see the fixed middle shelf in the description, maybe it's their. Finally, it looks very nice, and many have complimented me on it. However, at $160(and pressboard) they should simply make these where EVERY SHELF can hold the old DVD case/boxed set/steelbook. 12/10/2012
