Leather Executive Chair 4.5 5 297 361
It Rocks! It Rocks I wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer, whose review of this bargain leather chair hit all the right points. My only concern is that he may not be aware of this incredible chair's fully fab (if covert)functionality. Having read the gentleman's review prior to making my purchase, I was resigned to the "fact" that the chair (allegedly) did not recline (or "rock," to employ the vernacular). But then I read the manual. Wow! The chair really does rock, man! It rocks like crazy! Here's the ticket. Once you have completed the chair assembly, make certain that the rocking/reclining tension knob (the large, black, central knob below the seat) is fully "unwound." Then, reach underneath the right side of the chair and locate the height adjustment arm. With the seat upright, pull the arm straight out. This releases the chair from its upright "locked" position. Now you can rock to your heart's content. At the price, this chair is a bargain. But not only that, with the proper adjustments, it really does rock! 08/09/2007
DOESN'T HOLD UP IN THE LONG RUN!! I wanted to wait until I've had this chair a while before I wrote a review. People always write reviews as soon as they receive a product but what most people want to know is will the item stand the test of time....I've had this chair now 1 year and I am back on Walmart.com to find and purchase another chair. When the chair first arrived and I put it together it was amazing. It was beautiful, and everything worked great and I really felt I had found a great bargain. But after I had the chair about 6 months or more it started to break down. I love keeping my chair at the highest setting, because my computer desk sits high so having it lowered just doesn't work.Eventually the chair stopped staying up and would slowly start to sink. I am CONSTANTLY pulling the lever on the side to raise the chair back up! It just won;t stay up anymore, I even tried Gorilla glue and duck tape but to no avail. I was very disappointed. So in the end the chair didn't stand the test of time.Maybe if you are a very small framed or petite individual then this chair would possibly be great for you because it not much weight to support. But I'm 5'11 and 250lbs, and it could hold up. 02/14/2010
computer comfort I purchased your executive chair about a month ago. It was easy to assemble, had all the necessary parts and screws( a plus) and has a more expensive look to it. I have found it to be very comfortable while sitting at my computer for hours on end, the only thing that I could possiably wish for would be a rocker function. For the money I would recommend this chair to anyone that sits for two to four hours at a time surfing the web. 07/09/2007
A great bargain You cannot beat this chair for the price. It looks great and is extremely comfortable. The seat is a little smaller than my last chair, so if you are looking for...umm...extra roomy in the rear, lol, this is not for you. After a couple of days it felt like an old friend, and it took about a week for the reclining action to lose its stiffness. This chair seems sturdy, and I believe it will have a long lifespan. No creaking bolts or anything like that and it glides across the carpet.I would not only recomend this chair, I would look to purchase it again for myself in the future.Great looks, Built well, Low price 01/25/2008
