This upgrade is easy to hold and comes in gender colors - helps when there are two or more kids. It also is web friendly and sends you updates about what your kids are learning. I ended up getting a pink one too! 01/08/2010

We purchased the Star Wars math game and X-men game and they are great. Very age appropriate. Games are educational but they do not seem it to him. He tells everyone he has it. 01/08/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by SelmerGuy Pleasantly surprised I bought the Leapster for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He is under the recomended age but has taken to it quite well. Not so much the free game download that came with it but the Creativity Castle that came on the unit. He learned very quickly how to turn it on and navigate to the screen where he could draw and color. Using the stylus we even practice the abc's and numbers. 01/07/2010

My youngest grandchild is 3 and she uses it all the time. I highly recommend this product for it's small child-friendly use, but, more importantly, it's educational value.
