Great toy! I made the purchase for my 5 year old and it is fun yet educational. I will say my 70 year old mother will play some of the educational games to pass the time. 08/27/2011
My toddler loves it! My toddler loves her Leap pad! There are so many different types of activities for her to do, she doesn't get bored. From playing an educatioal game, taking care of her pets, reading a book, creating a book, and taking pictures, she enjoys learns and has fun at the same time. I highly recommend this "toy" to kids of all ages! 05/10/2012
joke Any toy is going to cost you $. This is my first and last purchase from LeapFrog. I don't think the games are as educational friendly as they could be. Some of the Leapster games are more educational but the system is big and bulky. Some of the games are not programed very well. All data is lost if the child shuts down or starts at a different level. They have to start from level 1, very frustrating for a kid. With the amount of $ I spent on batteries, a battery pack, and a charging station I could have bought something better in my opinion. I think it is stupid that it doesn't come with the battery pack in the first place. Its a waste of time, material, and $. 05/01/2012
