Rated 3 out of 5 by Mommysaurus no phonetic sounds I didn't read the specs clearly enough and assumed it would have the phonetic sounds of the letters, but this only gives the letter names. I don't believe it promotes early reading unless it is teaching the phonetic sounds. Still, my son enjoys spinning it and listening. 01/09/2013
