Rated 5 out of 5 by JSMBA Beautiful leaning shelf I know there are mixed reviews about this product but i am very satisfied. There are no scratches, nothing fell apart and I did receive the instructions. My husband assembled this in 30 minutes and it is beautiful in my living room. It looks just like the high end shelves but for half the price. I definitely recommend this leaning ladder bookshelf! 10/17/2012

Rated 5 out of 5 Having any doubts? BUY THIS When I first read the bad reviews, I was hesitant to buy thinking the shelf was just cheap. Reading the positive reviews helped changed my mind. Besides, you can not buy a ladder shelf for less than $100 anywhere else (Target $109.99- May 2013). I decided to take a chance ready to return the whole thing to Walmart at a moments notice.I looked for splinting shelves, pegs not going into holes, screws not lining up, etc. All the pieces passed visual inspection and all pieces were accounted for.When I finished, it looked good and was solid. It was well worth the 50 bucks and it does not look cheap. Keep in mind that the product is particle board (like most IKEA furniture) and care must be taken when assembling. Meaning, you can not over-tighten the screws or force fit pieces. 05/15/2013

I purchased this bookcase for my new bath, but when i changed the colors of the stone counter top it wouldn't work with the new color. Originally i was intending to have black/brown granite but purchased marble instead. 05/13/2013
