Rated 3 out of 5 by Librarychick1 Ok shelf I do like the shelf and would buy it again because it's the only thing I found to suit my needs. However, several screws broke while putting it together. It's also antique white which does match my room, but if you are looking for white this isn't it. 07/27/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by MamaOGrady NOT white! Gets the job done. Overall, an OK product. Not great, but not terrible. When we opened the box, the first thing we noticed was that it was packaged VERY well. Not a scratch on it. Immediately after, though, we noticed it is not a true white. Next to the rest of the white bedroom furniture, it looks almost yellow. I'll be painting it in the very near future. Next thing we noticed was that there were no instructions. It was so easy to put together that we didn't even bother contacting the store. We did NOT use the glue when putting together (better safe than sorry when assembling without directions!), and the shelf does seem a tad 'loose'. Not using it to store a whole lot, though, so I'm not too concerned. As far as value, I purchased a 9-cube shelf for $10 less the other day and feel like that is sturdier (no glue necessary!), provides more storage, etc., so this isn't going to give you the best bang for your buck, in my opinion. 04/09/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Melmatto Not too hard to put together and I love the size. However, the bookshelf was bought for our nursery that has white trim and this bookshelf, while it says white, is most definitely off-white or antique white. It bugged me enough to have to spray paint it to match. I also wish there were caps to cover where the screws go in. Overall for the price you get the quality you would expect I suppose, the color was the big disappointment 01/28/2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by michpass Nice bookcase but difficult to assemble Love this bookcase but it was tough to assemble, and I consider myself a handy person. Also, it is not white - but cream. Also would be nice if it had little plugs for the sides to hide the screws. 12/05/2011
