a waste of money.... This lamp would not even work, right out of the box. Now, I get to go stand in line at the returns counter & hope to get my account credited for this piece of junk. Cost $35, value $0. 08/23/2011
So Cool!!! I love lava lamps, and when I found out that they came out with different types, I was stoked! The coolest thing about this one, other than the obvious obvious electroplasma feature is that it has TWO settings!!! The first setting is the touch setting, which is like all the other electroplasma items out there. The second setting, however (the coolest setting), is a vibration setting that makes the electroplasma pulse as it feels vibrations. This is great for DJs or parties where music is playing loudly; place it on top of a speaker and be amazed! NOTE: at first you may think the lamp isn't working if you switch it on to this setting (moving the power switch all the way to the right); but fear not, it works - it's just set to react only to vibrations. Flip the switch to the middle, and you'll see the normal constant plasma setting! Again, Such a cool item - definitely a conversation piece for people walking by my desk! 11/28/2011

Do not purchase this Stops working after 2-3 weeks, should be worth around ten dollars.
