Was disappointed Was disappointed I ordered a clear lava lamp for my grandson and he received a frosted one.I do think the lamp was a excellent value just disappointed that he did not get what was orderd. 10/13/2011
didn't live up to the image this product did not work very well... i had it plugged in for 6 hours and still the "lava" barely moved. i purchased it for a kid who really likes red, so we went with the red design rather than a clear/white/black base. I liked the way it looked, but it didn't live up to our expectations of creating movement and looking cool. it also is in pieces that are not affixed... the glass section does not permanently stick to the base in any way, it just sits on top of it to be heated by the bulb. Since this was for a kid, i was concerned about it easily being broken/knocked over. 02/10/2012
