My fan does not make a clicking noise when it is in oscillate mode, It must be something wrong with your fan you need to take it back and get another one . Mine is perfect there's nothing wrong with it it works perfect it turns smoothly.

I have 2 of these fans and none of them make a clicking noise. I would return that one to the store and get another one before it gets worse and then you're stuck with it.

Have a new unit and it does not do the action you're referencing. The fan in oscillation mode does create more noise that I would like but it it is performing well.

You may want to return this fan because it should not be making that noise. We have had ours for more than three years, and it never makes noise when oscillating.

I don't know if it's normal, but my week-old 4390 does the same thing.

The only time mine have ever done that was when the base was clogged with dust and pet hair. We clean the unit frequently now and have no problem with the clicking or stalling.

I have owned 3 of these fans and all 3 eventually have done the clicking noise. My first one doesn&#39;t oscillate any more. The 2nd one I took back and they replaced it. Now the 3rd one is doing it. Thinking of trying a different fan. Ugh

I was house sitting for some friends who just happened to have the 4924 model.  I looked it up on Amazon.....and there were only 9 left in stock.  I read many of the reviews for this fan (4930) and the 4924.  Basically the only difference is the 4930 is electronic, has a remote and nightlight; while the 4924 doesn't!  It has 2 "buttons" (on/off switch

THIS FAN IS/HAS LOW NOISE. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

The fan is loud especially on the highest setting, but really strong and cools well.

Yes its very loud which I luv at night but during day TV has too b up loud too hear it.I just put it on cc so I can read what they are saying.

Is this fan load. I have to turn my TV up with other fans

It depends on how hot your room is. For me it produce cool air when the temp in in the mid 70's to low 80's (I haven't tried it in hotter temps yet). When I place it in front of a door or window it produces even more cool air.

This fan pretty much produces cold air in most conditions!

It is not an air conditioner so if warm air is all you have that is what it will circulate. If you have cool air in one room the fan will push that cool air into a warm room and thus give you more comfort.
