This is a GREAT fan! It's quiet and it even has efficient air-flow on speed level 1. I also love the air ionizer...it really does freshen the air. And it doesn't take up much space, as I live in a very small house. I love this fan!!

I purchased this for a dorm room, it's a fairly small room and I don't have much space, the small foot print of this fan is great for the room and puts out a lot of air, I keep the fan on the lowest setting just so it isn't too "windy" in my room. It is very quiet, I have it sitting right by a TV and didn't have to adjust the sound. My friend has one from another manufacture and when it's in oscillate mode his fan makes a clicking sound, and i was worried this one would do the same, but it doesn't, this one glides very nicely. Over all its a great fan, I don't use the remote it comes with so i can't say anything about it, if you have a Logitech Harmony Remote, Logitech already has the codes for you to update your remote and use it instead, that is what I use to control this fan.

I researched these fans a lot before purchasing them because I could only find them on line. Then comparing them to other brands and models along with prior experience with this brand decided to buy them. Even after reading some other negative reviews I still did, and I'm glad I did. They arrived undamaged, were easy to set up, and do everything they claim to do. My upstairs bedroom has only floor vented a/c, and setting one of these fans next to the register has eliminated all my circulation problems. The remote works without a glitch, the fan runs quietly in all modes, and the timer feature does what it's supposed to. The ionizer does remove any odors from the air as well. I have another of the same model fan downstairs in our condo and it too has met or exceeded our expectations. I would buy this fan again, and one of them has been running 24/7 for a month with no problem at all. It's a good looking well performing fan and a bargain for the price I paid compared to other makes and models. Don't hesitate to buy this one!

Did I mention ... BEST FAN EVER?? This is the best fan EVER. Seriously. It feels like an air conditioner when it's on full blast. A life-saver for us - our apartment only has a window unit air conditioner, which is in the front room, so the bedrooms can get stuffy. This fan is AMAZING. We put one in the hallway, and it blows cold air from the front room back into the bedrooms. Works like a dream. We have several of these fans - CANNOT live without them.

A beautiful fan for a decent price. Needs only a little assembly for the stand. Very polished...looks like a Home Theatre system speaker...not exactly what you would except a fan to look like. The cooling effect is exceptional...even on a hot day the lower speeds are enough to cool. The Remote also controls the oscillation. Highly recommended.

I bought this to replace another tower fan. I had originally looked at another brand at another store, but when I researched it that one had horrible reviews. I'm glad I took the time to read the reviews here, which led me to this fan. So far I am very happy with it. I like that the fan is taller than my old one. I'm using this in the bedroom, and the height means that more of the air flows over the top of the bed. The operation is very quiet, even when it oscillates. It has a strong output, even on the lowest setting; in fact if I had to wish for one thing, it would be for an additional slightly more gentle setting. The fan itself is very sturdy and I don't worry about my dogs knocking it over. It was easy to assemble, but just make sure to have a Phillips screwdriver on hand and while you are looking for the screwdriver, make sure you find some AAA batteries for the remote. The controls are easy to use and the remote has large enough buttons to make it easy to use in the dark, once you learn the layout. I like that it has a timer although the duration isn't quite as long as my last fan. (There is a 1, 2 and 4 hr mode but they can be added together to get 7 hours. The description says 7.5 hr but I couldn't find a way to get half hours. Not a complaint, just a comment). There is a storage area for the remote, so that it doesn't get lost over the winter. It is not a very obvious compartment, rather more of an indentation you might not even notice at first, but the remote snaps into it. I can't comment on the ion thing because I've run it with and without and really can't tell the difference, but I didn't buy it for that. The price was higher than I remember paying for my last fan, but that was a number of years ago, and this one seems to be in the same range as others with similar features. All in all, I'm very happy with the fan. If I stumbled across one on sale I think I would pick up another to replace the last remaining non-timer fan in the house.

I love this fan. Quiet operation on low setting which is plenty for my large bedroom while sleeping. High setting is really powerful to cool a room off quickly. Seems well built and really moves a lot of air. The remote feature is a big bonus, but is probably also why the price is a bit high. If it lasts, will be well worth every penny.

We used to have one of those older round model fans. It was always tipping over and didn't put out much air. We decided it was time to come out of the dark ages and get a new one. This was especially important because our room was getting 10 to 15 degrees hotter than the rest of our house. This was easy to construct and easily cooled our room down 10 degrees. It was very quiet, and its sturdy so it won't tip over and break. I love the remote for when I am asleep and get hot or cold so I wont have to feel around in the dark to find the fan. Best money I have ever spent!

This is a awesome product! There are one minor bug, but it's workable. Be warned, The unit doesn't have batteries with it for the remote. The unit doesn't have any place to store the remote, but this problem is easily workable. Just glue a short stretch of Velcro on the back of the remote and on the back of the fan. Once this is done, your off to the races! Even though this can't be bought from a Indianapolis WalMart, it IS available @ other WalMarts!

The description says there is on board storage, but one of the reviews says there is no place to store the remote. Can anyone clarify? I have another fan that does have a place to store the remote and that's probably the only reason I don't lose it over the winter!

    • A. Folks, see my earlier response to myself. It *does* have a storage area. (Or mine does; I suppose there could be different models). See photo of the storage area in the back; the remote snaps into place. I do keep the remote near me. However, when I put the fan away for the winter, I intend to store the remote on the fan so I can find it next spring. (I'm not one of them, but I can see where tidier folks than I might want to store the remote when it's not in use).

I put the remote control of the fan across the room on the desk where I sit and work and turn on the fan when I need it without walking towards it.
