Spacious and sturdy, but 2/4 arrived damaged We needed wide open, stackable storage cubes, and these met that need perfectly.That said, 2 out of 4 cubes arrived with damage on the top or bottom panel. It didn't look like they were damaged in shipment, so they were probably damaged in production or packing. The damage wasn't too bad, but makes me think that they aren't particularly sturdy.Since the top and bottom are the same, we were able to flip ours upside-down or hide the damage via stacking. But if you care about having a pristine cube, you may have to return it several times.Also, you really have to torque those screws in there to have the cover caps sit flush with the wood. 11/19/2010
Basic but works! I stacked this along with the version with a shelf to put my child's books on. It is simple but does the job. 10/03/2011
