  • About this item

Store milk in a safe place when you use the Lansinoh Set of 50 Breast Milk Storage Bags. Lansinoh bags are pre-sterilized, and they are designed for storing and freezing breast milk for use at a later time. These baby-milk storage bags are the thickest available. The self-standing bags come with a built-in pour spout and a patented double zipper closure to ensure a safe seal. These sacks are 100 percent BPA free, and that means less worry about industrial chemicals. The spout is specially designed to transfer milk conveniently from the pre-sterilized bag into the bottle. Lansinoh milk storage bags are space-savers, as they can easily be kept flat in the freezer. For easy access and storage, these Lansinoh bags feature a tissue-pack dispenser. The write-on tab is positioned away from the fill area to avoid ink contamination. Now you can prepare enough breast milk to fill many bags. Depend on the Lansinoh Set of 50 Breast Milk Storage Bags.

    Great Storage Bags

I tried this brand after using Medela bags for almost 8 months. I like the feel of the plastic much better. The freezing flat and compact storage is nice, which goes hand in hand with the faster thawing. They also hold 6 oz. as opposed to the 5 oz. w/ Medela. Overall, I'm very please with these bags and will continue to use until I'm done nursing my son.

These breast bags are amazing! I had to go back to work when my son was 2 months old, I was weary of pumping at work, but turns out my boss was more than willing to accommodate. I pump at home and keep the milk in Snappies, then when I get home I put it in these bags, it freezes great! The zipper closure is awesome, not easy to tear or rip. My husband loves it, he stays home with the baby while I am at work and every night I take out a bag of milk from the freezer and put it in the fridge, he likes the cut out shape that allows for easy pouring. These bags make it look easy! And that's because it is!!

I use a Medela pump, and i use to store my milk in the medela bags, that happened to give you less quantity than this for 10 bucks more. I finally made the switch to Lansinoh and i'm very happy that i did. Because, you can store more ounces of milk in here, they lay flat in the freezer that will help save room, the 50 count is great, and i have not experienced any leaks or breaks in the bag. Another thing is, i pump directly in the bag by attaching two pieces of tape at the top of the bag to my pump, when your done just seal the two zip locks, its so easy!!

    • No! Do not reuse!

    • I would say no. You don't want to mix older milk with newer milk and having the newer milk go bad. Even in a freezer it's good for only so long and the risk of feeding your child spoiled milk just wouldn't be worth it!

    • No. You should not reuse them for fear of contaminating your breast milk. Plus they are very hard to clean and dry, and leak once frozen anyway.

    • The label says to dispose of after one use. I wouldn't risk reusing these storage bags. I wish they made reusable bags though.

    • Hi nida66; we do not usually re-use them. I suppose you could wash them in soapy water, if you wanted... but I don't think I'd recommend it.

    • I would say no simply for sterilization purposes since they are pre-sterilized upon initial use not repeated use.

    • No. Storage bags should be disposed of after every use. Choose bottles if you want a reusable storage solution you can sterilize.

    • These bags have no way to be attached to a breast pump, so you would still need to pump into a bottle, then pour the milk into these bags.
      by BlssdMom4/11/2012

    • For the best results, I would pump with the bottle first and then transfer the milk into the bags. Breast milk is like gold, and you want to ensure that you keep every drop and avoid having an accident if the bag folds or something like that. I don't really know of a pump system that you can use bags only unless you're referring to dropping the bags inside of the bottle or something like that.

    • You will need a bottle to pump the milk into and then pour milk into bag for freezing.

    • These are not bags that attach to a pump, but it's easy enough to empty a pumped bottle into them. For the price, it's worth the extra step.

    • If you litterally hold the bag on while pumping, then yes they are compatible. If you're asking about if they have tape on them, then no. I pump into a container and put the milk into the bag aftewords. An excellent website is CafeMom. Go to a group called Breastfeeding Moms. There is alot of breastfeeding support there.

    • You need a bottle to pump the milk, then you pour it into the baggies to store it.

    • These bags are for use once the milk has been pumped. You cannot attach them to a bottle or pump. Once the milk has been pumped, dump it in the bags. Easy as that!

Do you hook them to the pump its self, or do u put them inside the bottles? Im new at this and when I go to buy this stuff i want to know what i need. Thanks For Any Help!!
    by firsttimer2013 4/26/2013
    • Typically you would pump into the bottle then empty into the bag..... but after pumping for a very long time, I have learned to just tape the bags right onto the pump where the bottle would go :)

    • Hello, firsttimer2013! I purchased these for my daughter, it is used for storage only after you use a regular pump. You pour the breast milk in these bags, than you will store them in the fridge or freezer.

    • With this type of bag, you will have to pump directly into the pump's bottles and then transfer the milk to the storage bags when you are finished.

    • I pump into the bottles then pour them into the bag when I'm done. I know some people use tape to attach the bag to the pump flange, but that can get messier.

    • I've never try hooking it up to the pumper while pumping or placing it in the bottle when ready to use...I only use this bag to store my milk after I'm done pumping with a separate bottle. Then when I'm ready to use the milk, I'd defrost it then pour it into the bottle I feed my baby with.

    • You pump into the bottle that attach to the pump and when done you just pour it into the storage bag and store.

    • There is an adapter for some pumps on amazon if you would like to pump directly into the bags. But for the most part ppl pump into bottles and then combine your milk from multiple pumping to fill the bag to the desired amount. These bags make it easy to freeze and store. Not recommended for fridge storage. ( use a bottle for that)
