Rated 3 out of 5 by Proud2bUSMC I was so excited! I was very excited to recieve my new dresser. It even arrived a day earlier then predicted which thrilled me. And then everything went down hill. First, the largest piece, the top of the dresser, was cracked clear down the middle and i was also missing 3 parts (2 drawer bottoms and one front support) I tried calling the number that came with the box but they are only open regular buisness hours so i had to curb the excitement and wait till morning. I called, it was simple and easy to get a new package on its way and it arrived the very next day. This is where the fun begins, NOTHING is labeled. In the book the pieces are numbered, but the pieces themselves have no labels. Its not impossible to figure out but why wouldnt they want assembly to be easier? Assembly took quite some time and the drawers are okay as a one person job but it definately takes two people to put together the dressers main frame. Then, the drawers screw directly into the frame, so once theyre on they are one and its not like with a track where you can remove a single draw. Its overall appearance looks very nice at the end but being a product from WalMart i was definately let down with the whole expeiriance. 01/29/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by JenCaliGirl I have purchased the Laguna Black Woodgrain queen size bed, nightstands (2) and now the double dresser.The shipment is packaged well to prevent damages and the two boxes will fit in a small to mid size car.The assembly took me (I am female and did it alone) about 2.5-3.0 hours to complete. As with all the furniture in this line nothing is labeled and the instructions are similar to Ikea's (pictures no words). The drawers were the easiest to assemble and the track system the most difficult to understand but once you do one it smooth sailing from there.The end result came out nice. There is just one issue with the bottom not being flush but other than that it's great. 04/06/2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by Alize18 Terrible!!! I bought this product along with 3 more black furniture items from Walmart trying to modernize my room. I put all of the four things together myself. This dresser was the only one I had a problem with. It came in two different boxes. One of the boxes had to be returned because it was damaged before even reaching my house. Then, I finally received the second box. As I was putting it together, I noticed that one of the dresser drawer piece holes were drilled way off so I had to request a new piece. I received the piece in 3 days. Finally I could put it together. A friend helped me with this one because of its size. After being finished, it was extremely wobbly and was coming apart. As long as it isn't moved it should be fine but as soon as I move into my new place I will definitely going to come apart completely. Two days after it was together the top drawer came apart and I had to take the whole drawer off to fix it. Like I mentioned earlier, I put furniture together all the time and by myself. I followed the directions correctly but this one just did not work for me. I am very dissapointed!!! 03/03/2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by smithk43 I am very happy with the finished product. I was hoping for an American made product and discovered upon delivery that it wasn't. The directions were simple but the pieces weren't labeled and instead a sheet of letters was included for me to label them myself. This was confusing and took about an hour and then it took my husband and I together about 3 hours to put it together. I like the appearance of the product but in the future would opt for an assembled product or one that is at least labeled for easier assembly. 02/10/2010
